Boulder Creek golf

One of the nicest courses I play regularly conditions are pretty darn good considering the 110 plus temperatures. Will always encourage people to play this course challenging but fair. Desert feel and very picturesque

Stallion Mountain

Perfect weather for a round of golf on Saturday afternoon. Tee’d off just after noon and finished @4pm. Pace of play was good up until final three holes where it slowed. Course layout is really nice with lots of water, traps ( pretty much sand less though) many undulations in the fairways and greens. Fairways for this time of the year were playable, the greens were average to below average and the hole placements were unfair with many on side hills. Greens were hard to putt - not real true to the roll. Several bird species in flocks around most water holes with remnants of bird Pooh everywhere on these holes. Course is spread out and plays long. I’d give it 3.5 stars overall

Revere- Lexington

I have played this course three times now and each time I leave a bit more disappointed. The scenic layout and picturesque holes are some of the best in the valley. The conditions have deteriorated with spotty fairway grass, hard sand less sand traps, beat up greens……Today’s round at check in found my name wasn’t on the starters clipboard but I had carts with my name and tee time - you tell me if their is disconnect with administration……we played front nine in 1:20 and played through one group but the back nine took 2:45. Hole 11 had four groups waiting at the tee box and the marshal was on lunch break- you tell me if their is disconnect with administration…..we passed three dead carts on the back nine and sure enough one of our carts died on 16 and if you know hole 16- their is a giant hill to climb to hole 17. We finished our round walking in 105 degrees - got to where we turn in carts and no one is there to wipe clubs, offer a ride to our vehicles…..you tell me if their is disconnect with administration….. the course has its locals and guests but I’ve probably played my last round at Revere. Course has potential but lacks the upkeep to put it in a category of 4 or 5 stars. They like to think they are elite but they don’t do the work to make it elite. This is based on three rounds not just one bad day of disconnect

Royal Links

Played an afternoon round at Royal Links- our first time playing it- staff was tremendous, course conditions were solid, pace of play was great - 3:15- course was challenging and the simulations of the “Open” holes were neat. The only downside is the beer cart last call was at 1:30pm and clubhouse closed at 3pm- luckily we had extra water with us for the second nine as we dealt with the heat without access to liquids. Overall though, it was a good experience.

Bears Best

Bears Best is a beautiful challenging golf course Variety of holes keep it fresh. Greens were slow but in good shape. Course condition is excellent. Several multi million dollar homes along with views of the valley and strip give it added touches
