The course was well maintained. There was very little evidence of last October's hurricane- just a few stumps along the fairways and fallen trees off in the woods. We were pleasantly surprised that none of the signature oak trees were damaged.

The wind was blowing quite steadily on the first tee and it kept up for most of the round. It never seemed to be at our back! The course is in beautiful shape- the tee boxes are almost suited for putting.

The course is in beautiful condition. The greens are fast and well kept. There were workers on almost every hole, either blowing away leaves and pine needles or mowing or spraying, but they never seemed to get in the way. We played in the afternoon and there were almost no other golfers ahead or behind us. We finished 18 holes in a little under 3 hours.
