If you like a bit of elevation change this course is great! Excellent pace of play on weekday. Water to play beside and cross over. Overall well maintained and friendly helpful staff.

I found Newlands to be a very good value for full length course with interesting creek water through many holes and occasional (remarkably quiet) small aircraft low just before landing at the local airstrip nearby. The buffet downstairs and bar upstairs both overlook the course and you will also find, not surpisingly, very good value in both as well.

If i could have two wishes, it would be that the snack house centrally located at the end of the first hole would have instead of soda, cookies, chips and some sandwiches a fuller menu including healthier fare. Espresso coffee would also be uniquely excellent to find there, and would make this course stand taller than the others for menu hospitality. I can dream.

Once again found this course a terrific value. Plenty of lengthy holes with uphill downhill doglegs and water. While the ample greens show a bit of how popular this course is and in early November accumulating leaves are a seasonal nuisance, I think the staff should be commended for keeping up with it as well as they do day in and day out. Thank you Newlands for keeping your green fees reasonable. I will be booking again soon.

Had a wonderful round. Early September warm dry weather found both fairways and greens very well kept. Many holes to drive long. Changing pin placements.

Except for the obvious extra hours to play a round this afternoon golf went pretty well. I have played over 10 times here and this is the only occasion pace of play was an issue. Staff provided a free bottle of water close to the 5 HR mark. I do wish the food service would include a few healthier choices .

Thanks to the hardworking skillful greenskeeprs and all the staff that keep this course in fine shape. Every time in 2019 and 2020 the course has been really decent. I look forward to playing here again very soon.

Greens and fairways in very good condition. Friendly pro shop and entire course was tidy and clean. Very reasonable green fees make this an obvious value. Maybe book ahead for after work to avoid waiting for the Massey Tunnel traffic that will eventually return. From Vancouver southbound just after Oak St bridge take Shell Rd exit then right on Shell left at Westminster Hwy and after crossing over Hwy99 right on Sidaway to Mylora Golf (to avoid likely returning 5pm rush hour tunnel wait) My wife and I enjoyed playing here recently and this time with another golf couple. Good times. Also played a few twilights less than 20 bucks so a decent bargain there too. Cheers.

Got caught with a tee time just after 3 pm cart cutoff and even a sore foot would not allow a power golf cart exception, one senior in our party actually had her cart mistakenly given out was taken back, she quit and got refunded (I did not reserve the cart and i was offered a green fee refund) . Otherwise great golf course very well kept fairways, bunkers, water and good greens even if i had to limp 6000 plus yards. So, confirm ahead or start before 3 if you don't want to walk (or limp ;-) . May 15 2020.

Considering this is February and i started about 11am my third time at this course was very rewarding. Incredibly beautiful views of mountains near and far, local blueberry farm adjacent so there's not much but well kept golf course with plenty of water and wildlife to see. Blue heron, beaver, geese, mallards. Golf this course, you will probably be tempted to use the camera on your phone.Bbe respectful of the animals and birds. Greens were in very good condition. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Solid executive course. Excellent pace of play. I lost a few balls owing to plugging in deeper rough but this early in the season (February) thats 'par for the course' as they say. I found the greens in pretty good shape and enjoyed the whole round. I golf with my wife here too.

Worth the drive to get to paradise. Set at the edge of mountains with lots of ponds marsh and wildlife. I found over a few visits the greens kept in good shape and noticably faster than some others even in damp weather. Very reasonable fees. Dont forget to check the website for golf bonus on your (or your golf buddy's) birthday.

I really enjoy playing this moderate length 18 hole course. With many adjacent fairways and grass that is well kept not so long you generally find your wayward ball easy and playable. Terrific service in the pro shop and restaurant, its easy to like this place. My favorite go to course for affordable golf in Vancouver.

My wife and i enjoyed the relaxed hospitality and decent greens on this nice looking mostly shorter 18 hole executive course. Give it a try or go back if you've been, especially if one or some in your group would rather play execitive length. I have no affiliation but have played here a dozen or so times and will go back again. Reliably a good value.
