Was really excited to play here today. Haven’t played here in a while but saw some recent reviews and we booked our large group here. We haven’t been this disappointed in a course in a long time. The greens were slow, patchy and bumpy. The turn (at 12:30) refused to serve us any food in order to “keep pace”, no hotdogs or anything ready and they were real snotty about it. They charged for cups of ice. We were going to all go inside after the round but just went elsewhere. We felt like we were in The Truman Show and they were testing how much we would take Extremely disappointing. The little mini 19th hole they have was the best conditioned hole of the day.

ChanpionsGate is one of the elite courses in the Orlando area. The greens are magnificent and the course is in superb condition. One of the few courses that overseeds wall to wall in the winter time so everything remained green and lush. Good food at the bar. Great course, great experience as always.
