I played here a month ago and the greens were very inconsistent and starting to die out. However the rains did it well and they have come back. They were surprisingly fast! Rest of the course was in good shape as well. Enjoyed the round.

Happily surprised at the condition of the course. The greens are holding up fairly well considering the heat and lack of rain. Fairways are also doing ok. Get an early tee time and the heat is not an issue.

Only issues was price, not at the $45 price point. No bunkers to speak of, basically tilled dirt. As for staff, EVERYONE is polite and kind EXCEPT the lady at the register. Rude and didn’t want to sell me range balls because SHE didn’t think w head time to hit them before our tee time even though we were 25 minutes early. Not very nice.

Would still recommend and play there again. Was happily surprised as mentioned above.

I’ve played Tubac many times. Played Otero and Rancho 9’s. Otero and Rancho were in good shape but I’ve seen it in better shape. Greens were good but some showed signs of wear and tear. For the price, the value wasn’t great but it was still fun to play. Tubac is also cooler than green valley or Tucson . We teed off at 1:10 pm and the heat was not an issue and finished in 3.5 hours.

Hadn’t played Silverbell in 20+ years and I was happily surprised. For being a muni course pace was good, greens were better than expected and taken care of. It’s jume so it’s hot and the lack of rain is and water is evident with the rollout on fairways. HOWEVER I would definitely play there again and plan to again soon.

Always a fun time even in the heat. Course is in good shape considering no rain so far. Greens are doing well and are true.

However pace of play makes heat feel twice as bad. Marshall’s don’t do much and no beverage cart on course, it’s stationary. So pack your patience and plenty of sunblock and water. Close to a 5 hour round.

Love playing this course. It is getting a little dry and firm due to ten heat of the summer but the greens are always in great shape. Only complaint would be the bunkers and there is no beverage cart. Other than that it’s an amazing deal during the summer. Also, best driving range in the area!

Decided to splurge and pay the $85 for an 11:00 tee time in Tucson AZ, during the summer. The course had a lot of dry areas which can be expected and some fairways were pretty bare. Greens were decent, most were sanded and had been aerated recently. Having said all that, the layout is a blast with both easy and challenging holes, but the best part are the views. Play the mountain course and you will not be disappointed. Although $85 was a bit steep for the condition of the course, it was still a lot of fun.

San Ignacio is a favorite but summer is usually rough. Happy to say that the course was in better shape than expected. Yes som3 dry spots but the greens were excellent, especially for being Bermuda. This made playing there a great value. Will be plating there more this summer. Oh and the rang3 is the best in this area!

Sewailo is a must play in Tucson. This course is second to none. If you can stand a little heat, jump on the discounted rates asap. If I lived in Tucson this would be my home course in the summer. Don’t hesitate.

The course itself is in pretty decent condition and the greens were playable, at least the front 9 is. BUT THE PACE OF PLAY WAS HORRENDOUS! It took us 2:45 minutes to play 9 holes! We waited more than 5 minutes in between every shot. This should never happen on any course, especially when you tee off before 9:00 am.

The marshal/ranger is useless. He drives around and stops to chat with residents in the area rather than try to speed up play. Had he been on his job, he could've made it worth while to play there. We even caught him talking to a resident who was using binoculars to check out women on the course!!!! Amazing.

If you have 5+ hours to burn on a golf course and don't mind paying $55 for 9 holes go for it. However, you can do a little better down the road a bit where the marshals actually keep track of pace of play.

I have played Canoa several times now. Winter and spring are the times to play it. Course was in pretty good shape considering the lack of rain.

However, BUNKERS ARE HORRIBLE! Yes I know, stay out of the bunkers. Was only in one, but there is no sand, lots of rocks and not very nice on the clubs. My playing partners said the same. Wish they would put more effort into maintaining them though. Not a game changer though, would play again for the right price.

Its that time of year when the course is neglected because demand is down. Course is drying out. Areas around the greens are inconsistent. Greens were not mowed and very inconsistent. Wish they would maintain it the way they do during the fall and winter when the snow birds are in town.

Will start review with the greens, they were amazing! Fastest I have played this year, but they were consistent, true and the held. If you like fast greens, these are the fastest in the valley! Played TPC Scottsdale the day before and Legacy's smoked those! The course itself was in good, not great, shape, but above average for sure.
Another highlight was the pace of play. We finished in less than 4 hours and we were a foursome! Could have finished sooner but were held up by the group in front. We were not pushed either, very comfortable pace.
Everything about the place was nice. Staff was very friendly. Looking forward to playing again when the price comes down a little. Only knock would be that there was no marshal on the course to improve pace of play.
Overall, would recommend this course, especially for the greens! Enjoy.

First time playing there. What a great lay out! Not a long course but uphill approach shots makes it play longer. People were very friendly and helpful. Practice area was also nicely kept. Pace of play was awesome, we teed off at 2:12 and were done by 6:00! Didn’t think we would get the round in.
Nest part was the greens though. Probably the fastest greens in the valley! They were also true and held which made them fun to play!

The course is in pretty good shape for southern AZ in the summer. Courses wait for the monsoons and they have been absent so far and the courses show it. This course is no different, but it has held up better than most. Greens are an really good shape and even fast for summer Bermuda.

Only issue, ONLY COURSE I KNOW THAT DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO RIDE ALONE DURING THESE COVID TIMES. HAVE TO PAY $10 EXTRA WHICH IS NOT COOL.

If you don't mind riding with strangers this is the course for you. Bothers me so I will stay away. Wish they would have said something about this on their website.

Haven is a great little course that has a fun layout. The course is in rough shape but so are all the courses in Southern AZ when the monsoons don't come in. The greens are a little slow but consistent. You will need to improve your lie on some of the fairways but it's no big deal.

The only MAJOR complaint is that with Covid, a lot of people have taken up golf and have no idea how to play, course etiquette and pace of play. A round that would of taken us less than 4 hours went over 4 hours. Golf pro and marshal need to do a better job especially in this heat. That has actually kept me away form the course the past two weeks. Other courses move people along, Haven doesn't. Sucks.

If you don't mind possibly being there for a while, its the course for you! Enjoy, I have.

I have played this course many times and I enjoy it. The greens are always in good condition and somewhat fast for this area. It is fairly narrow at times and not long at all. If you're playing the white tees, a 3 wood will suffice. Staff is friendly and helpful. ONLY issue right now is the fact that they are making people pair up in golf carts and Arizona is still in phase 1. This is quite concerning at this time as most of the courses in the area are 1 to 1 with golf carts. Still, this course does give you bang for your buck, especially if you don't mind the heat!

Played this course plenty. It’s a good course. Bar and restaurant are closed on sundays. Not cool. Other than that good course for the money.

I’ve played have a few times. Took my girlfriend there for her first time golfing. I enjoy it because it is a flat layout. However, I was extremely impressed with the greens! I don’t like Bermuda greens, but these were true and fast! I highly recommend this place!
