I got the impression that this was very much a members course. There seemed to be a level of expectation that you knew where you were going and what you were doing and it lacked the normal customer service I associate with golf in the usa but it wasn't bad. .
Course was relatively wide open and in very good condition apart from the bunkers. I enjoy playing from bunkers with only an inch or so of sand but these bunkers varied from rock solid to granite! I read this in other reviews before I booked the course and can't believe it's still an issue. I played with 3 members who said it's always a problem. I guess the answer is to stay out of the bunkers.
If you want a fun days golf where you don't lose your ball on every wayward shot then this is the course for you and it's challenging enough to keep your low handicap friends happy as well.
