Kenny Perry's Country Creek Golf Course
Played On 08/23/202025 years of golf, never waited on every single shot until today...
This course is well kept, the staff is friendly enough and the layout is pretty average, not bad, not unique. The pace of play is abysmal! Absolutely horrid. They overbooked by leaps and bounds. I understand wanting to make as much money as possible, I’m in service sales, trust me, I get it, but today was just completely out of control bad and you don’t make money at the expense of decimating your product. I have never in my life of 25 years playing golf waited on every single shot, until I went to Kenny Perry today, for the first time. We were out there trying to get my mind off an extremely fresh family tragedy and the waiting just did the opposite of what I was trying to accomplish. Not their fault obviously, as they had no idea but I just can’t wrap my head around why they think packing the course that tight would offer anyone an enjoyable experience. Our group’s typical round is usually 3-3.5 hrs so a 5+ hour round is just unacceptable. We drove from Nashville expecting so much better, we won’t make that trek again. I wouldn’t recommend this place after our experience for the first time today.

Not a single Marshall out on the course to help pace of play. My group and I play every single weekend all over Middle TN, we have never waited on every single hole until today. The group in front of us was yelling at people on their decks along the course and the group in front of them were moving at a snails pace. Needless to say, we’ll stay away from this place. This was basically the straw that broke the camels back, tried to give this place one more shot after they completely ruined my birthday round in October, the staff was outrageously rude even after I called to make sure it was ok for a 6 player scramble for my bday 2 weeks ahead of time(which they said absolutely, come on out) and believe it or not it was because of pace of play when we were 1 of 4 groups out with no one around us. I just don’t get it with this place, country club attitudes with below average experiences. I’ll spend my $ elsewhere.
Pebble Brook Golf Course
Played On 03/07/2020Way overpriced for the condition, $ is certainly not going back in the course...
I have never written a review but I had to here. I played this course probably over a decade ago and it was enjoyable. I hate to see what it has turned into. It is in absolutely HORRIBLE condition—missing tee markers on 50% of holes, greens are just ridiculous, not sure I ever hit off a piece of grass down in the bowl(majority of front 9) and I hit every fairway, it’s just in bad shape and I think it is just to overwhelmingly bad to recover. I paid more to play this place than Greystone, one of the best courses in the state, the day before. The difference is night and day! This place has so much potential but it has been neglected as bad as any course I have ever seen. Very disappointing as I had family in town playing with me and they were just disgusted with the course conditions. I wish them good luck but it’s going to take years of very hard work and money to get this track back. I hope they surprise me but unfortunately I think it is too far gone. I won’t be back until I hear otherwise, it’s just in a sad state.
Hello, thank you for reviewing the course. We apologize for the delay of play during your round. This is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. With an uncharacteristically full day, we work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and allow our guest the chance to complete their rounds. With that in mind, we are working to best control pace and allow everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. We will continue to look for ways to improve. We are glad to see you rated the course conditions and layout to be great during your game. Thank you for playing Country Hills Golf Club. We hope to see you again soon.
