Lack of course marshal. It took 4 hrs. 45 min. to play 18 holes. Our foursome waited every hole & almost every shot. Two golfers were ahead of us & 3 golfers ahead of them. We were told a five-some ahead was ahead of them slowing the play.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Course was wet due to rain the previous day & front nine was closed due to sanding of greens. We played back nine twice for the 18. These conditions added to this challenging course. Our foursome played the course & still had a good time. I should have called the Pro Shop for course condition before leaving the house. But then, we would have missed out of the fun we had.
