Gleneagle Golf Course
Played On 10/14/2017Fun course but too many houses
I’m not a big fan of courses where houses are literally on the fairway. That said, this course has nice rolling fairways with fun elevation. As someone who isn’t a very long driver, I enjoyed how many holes were better with an iron off the tee. Because the course was empty we got through in 3 hours - and that includes a decent drive time between holes. Both of those statements are wins in my book.

I really appreciate that this 9 hole course has two different sets of tees so you can play the holes differently!
Very well maintained and fun. I wish there was some more variation (each hole is just straight) but the elevation changes added some excitement.

Challenging pin placements and empty course made this really fun.

Course was well kept. We got stuck behind a slow twosome but still got done in under 4 hours.
Blue Rock Springs Golf Course - East
Played On 11/15/2014Excellent value!
Course is well maintained and challenging enough to keep you interested without being impossible. Pace was a little slow due to the foursomes in front of us but the scenery was nice and there are some great views from the tops of the hills.
Shoreline Golf Links at Mountain View
Played On 08/15/2014Poor value
The course was totally torn up and poorly maintained. Many holes needed ground repair and some had massive construction going on all around them. One par four was having the tees redone so there were fairway tees at 150 yards which were poorly marked. Most of the holes had minimal signage (some were missing it completely) and those that had a posted layout were battered and torn up. Not worth the value and for the record there's really only 1 hike with a view of the "shoreline". Very disappointed.
Paradise Valley Golf Course
Played On 11/12/2012Too easy, too crowded
I like short courses because you can work on your irons game, however this one really isn't worth the effort. There were no less than 8 holes that were all about 160 yards. Seriously, we became completely disenchanted with the course because it felt like the same thing over and over. The water really doesn't come into play at all which was dissapointing and the cart paths are a little ridiculous. They seemed to try to make a winding road through the course to make you forget the whole thing is flat and lacking in scenary. For $15 bucks I'm glad I tried it once but wouldn't go back even for the same price.
Southern Ridge Golf Club
Played On 11/9/2012Other reviews are unfair
I was worried about playing this course with all the bad reviews but honestly they need to have a reality check. For $20 this was not bad. The course was extremely green! which was unexpected and well maintained. There were some standing water issues but mostly on the cart paths. Considering these people just bought the course, they should be aplauded! Another review claimed there were no ball washers or water available on the course - this is FALSE! The course has both. It's not the best course on the planet but it has nice wide fairways and is a great place to practice.
