Have played Beachwood many times. Staff was great as usual. Cart guys are friendly and always come to your car to grab your bag and load it. Pro shop staff and grill both very pleasant on 12/29/23. Course was in good shape for winter. Tee boxes need some leveling in places, but overall we were pleased as usual. Wish inconsiderate folks would fix their ball marks, but that's golfer's fault, not course. Enjoyed the round for sure.

Booked online and saved a ton, thank goodness. If I had payer full price I would have been very upset. 15 of 18 greens had less than 50 pct of their Bermuda disguised as dirt and the tees were barely any better. Pace of play was fine, probably because word is out that it is a dump. $28 per person to ride? You can play nice, full length courses in MB for $30 in the summer. Just pay more and play from the 100 yard marker. Lastly, the old man in the pro shop was nasty and rude. Guess he got up too early or hates his job, but no reason to add to the disappointment in the course by being I'll tempered. Go somewhere else.

The St. Andrews holes were cool. Conditions of the greens and fairways were acceptable for summer in MB. Tees were awful. Much of the rough was very unkept and needed mowing, etc. Amen corner was ugly and unkept. If you pay to play replica holes, they should be close to the same quality and appearance, not just topography. Pro shop guys were great, very nice. Clubs on the oversized cart were a bit much, just a money grab for tips. Took 20 minutes to leave, and there were 5 cars in the lot. Club guy disappeared somewhere. Overall it was worth it, but could have been better.
