Proper range, short game facility under repair, nice clubhouse. Course is the resort course you should expect, but honestly not in as great of condition as you would expect for the price. Some stinky holes, some interesting ones, none great. 17 is fun. Another course in the area is where you should play, way better value.

Great course to have fun and post a good score, even if you’re struggling with the driver. Honestly the widest fairways I’ve ever seen. Usually in very good shape. Greens were rolling very fast for a public course, although not very true. There were bumps and ridges from when they recently injected air (aeration alternative). If those weren’t present, they may have been even better. Not a crazy interesting layout, but not a dog track either. Greens are relatively simple and not too complex, but pin placement can change that in a hurry; evidence of good design. If I lived closer I’d play this course way more often.

Love this course for the fact that you can spray it off the tee and still score. Depending on pin position, you can really score. Not a serene setting (aircraft landing overhead, interstate, etc) but a fun layout. Driveable par 4 #7, reachable par 5’s in number 9 and 18 which share an hourglass green. You can be playing terribly but hit one of those “keep ya comin back shots” in many holes. Course gets a lot of play so come early or try and sneak out late on a long summer day; many long rounds have been had out there, as it’s maybe the most popular public course in Savannah.

Results may vary, but if the greens are in good shape this course is fun. Not a terribly unique layout, but not boring either. Biggest gripe is how slow it can be on weekends, but without rangers or starters that is pretty standard in Savannah.
