This was my second time playing this course. After my first round last year my only critique was the slow pace of the greens. What a difference, some of the best greens I’ve ever putted on with plenty of pace. As usual the course is in immaculate shape and the staff is second to none. This course may be a little shorter than usual from the tips, however most holes offer many challenges of sloping fairways, water and lots of undulation on the greens with not many straight putts. Can’t wait to play this course again in the future.

This course checks all the boxes, fantastic staff, friendly course, and done in 2 hours and 40 min. Noticed in the previous reviews are about the greens being slow. That was to say the least. These greens were the slowest greens I’ve ever played on by far. Didn’t kill the experience, but this review would have easily got all 5 stars if the greens had some pace. Overall was a great experience and will be coming back.

This is the third and final course I played during my vacation on HHI. I sure saved the best for last. My tee time was at 745, I arrived early enough to hit range balls on the pristine practice area. As I warmed up for my round I noticed a family of deer run across the driving range. Being from Southern California I don't see that very often (coyotes, not deer) so I though that was pretty cool.
The staff were very friendly and made the experience even better. Marshall's were located throughout the course to maintain pace of play which I liked.
As far as the course goes, u can't ask for a better scenery. No houses, and not a hint of brown grass anywhere. Everything about this course was excellent. This course easily goes into my top 5 courses ever played. Everything about this course was well worth the money.
