Great Experience

-Great club house and locker room, nice range and practice area, fantastic golf course design, great variety of holes, lovely halfway house, long par-3 on the back 9 is nearly impossible to make a par, make sure you find the fairway on the 18th hole! If you are willing to spend a bit more money than an average course, you will not be disappointed by your experience at Angus Glen!

Great option close to the city

Played from the back tees (~6000 yards) and was paired with a regular patron of RHGC who showed us the way. Somewhat difficult to navigate the course - extremely hot so the ball was flying a long way - made club selection difficult for approach shots.

Pros: scenery was parkland and also reminded me of canadian shield / Muskoka Bay club in some parts. Nice on-course washrooms and beverage cart was coming around frequently providing free bottles of water. nice green complexes and unique layout. Marshall helped us move 1 slow group ahead of us.

Cons: lots of un-repaired ball marks on greens. a few tee shots that are so narrow that if you do not hit a perfectly straight (10-20 yard wide landing zone) show your ball is gone or in another fairway. The 11th tee shot is the most intimidating tee shot I have ever seen - which was cool to see.

Would play here again on a quieter, cooler day. probably would take a cart next time. Course is walkable but in the high heat I recommend a cart.

my favourite local option

My favourite place to play golf in Toronto.

Greens rolling fast and true - love the greens.

Lots of variety in the course layout. This place is all about the golf - the price is right and the test for a mid-handicapper like myself is just right.
