We have played this course a few times in the last couple of years, and were pleasantly surprised. Previously the upkeep of the course was excellent. Good greens, fairways, bunkers, everything. The course now is a shell of what it was just last year (we played on the same weekend last year). It was very swampy, which is not the course's fault. But nothing is mown. We were losing balls after landing in the fairway. It added an hour to our round. The greens are all pock-marked. Most of the bunkers have grass growing in them, showing that they haven't been groomed since last year! It's like they cut their staff by 90%. What a letdown. We won't be back any time soon.

I learned to play on this course years ago and it's evenbetter now, Although it wasn't great for a few years, the course is well taken care of now.

Tee boxes and greens were actually nice, but the rest of the course is brown. Dead. Hard as rock except for pools of mud. Awful.
It was a hot afternoon, but we were still swarmed with mosquitos, especially in the centre of the course.
Lots of duffers on this course. We were almost hit FOUR times with nobody yelling FORE. When we mentioned this to the marshal at the end of the course, she said that we should wait for the group behind us and "give them a piece of our mind". Yeah, that's what a marshal should say.
Anyway, I recommend Country Meadows or even Mylora in Richmond if you're looking for an exec course at that price.

It's a deceiving challenging course at times. Beginners will lose balls. The course is nicely maintained although the rough can get long. Really good Hot Deal on GolfNow for $20.

The layout is a little confusing. More signage would help to find the next tee.

I hadn't played this course since the 90s. Used to be an average, muddy course. Now it's GREAT. Many improvements. Course in perfect shape. Restaurant could be better but all in all a great day of golf.

Some of the reviews said the course was always wet/muddy and the fairways were narrow. Although my ball was dirty after every hole, my feet didn't get wet, and there were only a couple of places with standing water, so no big deal. Many of the fairways were wide and I didn't lose any balls because of this. The price in April was very good, so good value for the money.

I've played this course many times over the years. I love the size of it. It can be done in 3 hours or so. Currently the greens are recovering from spring aerating but other the course is almost always in good shape. It was a perfect course for my wife's first game (and mine many years ago).
