Have played this course several times and really like the layout and the course. My wife always rides with me and does not play. Today I was informed that they are charging a $22.00 rider fee for my wife. This is not acceptable to me and I will not be back to Gulf Shores as long as they continue this policy. There are plenty of other courses in the area that do not charge a rider fee. Beware of this fact before you book at Gulf Shores if somebody wants to ride along with you.

My favorite course in the area. Have played it three times and enjoyed it more once I know the layout and where to hit the ball. Pretty challenging course so be prepared to lose a few golf balls. Great white sand in the bunkers and waste area. Course was in great shape with fast greens.

Played on a cold Tuesday. Not many players and the round went by quickly. Starter was organized and paired me up with another single. Course was in excellent condition. Greens were fast and firm. Play here as often as I can while in the Gulf Shore area. Would highly recommend the course.

Really enjoyed the course. Did not have to hit driver every hole. Ball placement was a must on several holes. Course was not in great shape but that was more due to the time of the year. Greens had been sanded and grass was just now coming in.

Played on a Friday afternoon so pace over play was really slow. Did not see one Marshall all day. The Dunes is the tougher of the nines. Greens were hard and fast. Would recommend the Lakes for higher handicaps. Overall a nice neighborhood course but not on the same level as a resort course. Would play again.

Played on a Saturday which might have contributed to a four hour plus round. Really liked the course. Plenty of water and a challenge to play. Other than the slow play would recommend this course

Beautiful golf course. High handicappers will struggle a bit with all of the sand and water on the course. Course was in pristine condition. Fairways were like hitting off of carpet. Bunkers had beautiful white sand. Not much bad to say about this course.

Course is fairly short so driver is not necessary on all holes. More of a shot makers course. Course knowledge is important on several holes Number 10 is a Par 5 that is a layup on both the drive and approach shot. Only complaint was pace of play was a little slow

Most of the tee boxes were not level and the corse overall was average. I played three courses in the Miramar Beach area and the one would be last on my list. That said it was also the least expensive of the three. Lots of water and it did have several holes that were very enjoyable. Would play this course again.

One of the prettiest courses I have ever played. Winds in and out of the trees to the point where you see very few other fairways around you. Would play it again and it would be even more fun once you know where to hit the ball on each hole. Great place to play

Tree lined golf course with lots of water. Not a long course but more positional with your golf ball. Would help to play with someone who knows the course the first time. For a muni it was in pretty good condition. A few bad greens but overall not bad. Would play again.
