On a beautiful autumn day in the Sierras, myself and a buddy took the 40 minute (at most) drive from Reno to Truckee to play this majestic mountain course. The course was in excellent shape in early October. The fairways were in fantastic shape except for the aerating plugs, but did not hamper on fairway shots. The greens were fast and true with the pin placements in challenging yet fair positions. I will highly recommend this course to family and friends and anybody who asks where to play a mountain course.
