The course is lined with mature trees and the fairways are well maintained. The design, while not overly difficult, penalizes you if you don't keep the ball in the fairway. The greens undulate but are smooth and fair. They force you to learn to read a green and not just putt. The back nine contains four holes that are in a quarry. They are beautiful to look at (take a camera) and a ball to play. They really put a premium on picking a target and hitting it. Overall, it is one of the best courses in the area and well worth the drive to play it.

The course has a nice layout although some fairways are a little tight with houses lining the way. The greens are ok, fairly fast and relatively smooth. The sand traps are good but a lot of the waste traps need to be dressed better. Overall, the course seems to get a little better each year.
