It would have been nice to know in advance that the back 9 was closed and we were going to play the front twice. I’ve gone back to look at my reservation and it did not provide that information anywhere!

I like this course, but i hate playing the same 9 twice. If i had known in advance I would have booked elsewhere.

At the course they insisted they told GN, but looking back I can not see it.

Conditions are good, staff is very friendly and PoP was good on a Sunday morning. You will pay a lot more for other courses that are not in the condition of this course.

Truly a hidden gem !

I like this course and I have played here many times over the years. During the start of COVID, i played here twice per week, and sometimes as low at $13 er round !!

When you play here a lot, you know what to expect. Dirty carts, poor drainage otherwise decent conditions, and generally a good, helpful staff.

Today we were stuck behind a 4-some that’s had no regard for anyone other golfers. With nobody in front of them, they were on pace for a 6 hour round !! I had a 6-some (that’s right) behind me that played faster than the 4-some in front of me. By the time we hit the 8th hole, I could not stand it any more. I passed them and went to. The 9th tee.

I stopped at the turn and mentioned the pace of play in the clubhouse. The attendant behind the bar (where you check in and pay) could not have cared less.

Too many other great courses around…I’ll spend my golf dollars elsewhere for a while!

I’m not entirely sure how to feel about this course. The course sits in what appears to be an older golf community, but there is also a significant amount of new home construction ongoing that does impact play a bit.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Carts are newer, and were clean. Driving range is a net set up next to the first tee. There was a small putting green also at 1.

The whole course is a bit narrow, and the greens were generally very small. The greens and tee boxes were all in VERY good conditions. You need to be careful on the fairways as those teeing on the next hole could be coming at you if they are are not straight. Happened on many holes with balls landing near me from the next tee box.

Here is the strange part for me. The first 9 were bone dry…no water. The back 9 had water on almost all holes. They make it look nice with fountains and water creek features, but it plays into most holes.

Not a bad experience, but I left asking myself if I would come back..even at the great rate they charge.

I only had time for a quick 9 Holes today. My son, who does not golf was coming with me as a rider.

I fully expected to pay a rider fee and had no issue with it, until I learned how much it was

Cost to play 9 holes, riding was $14.00. Great value!

The added cost for my son to ride was $12.00

I thought he was kidding but he just kept repeating “our rider fee is $12.00”

So…if I walked instead of riding I would have only paid $2.00 for my round?

They are doing a great job maintaining this course. Give it a try

Played here in April…It was awful. I stayed away since, but drove by occasionally to see how things looked. I decided to give it another chance.

Conditions have definitely improved since April. Still a long way too go, but much better. Most greens were very good. Tee boxes are mixed and fairways were about average.

Staff is GREAT. Nice carts, and the Brats at the turn are something to look forward to.

Just a little slow due to (2) 4-somes in front of us. At the turn they did send someone out to speak to them. Did not make much of a difference, but at least they tried!

Nice track, great staff and they are trying hard to maintain and improve.

It's been a few months since I played WH. Last time the conditions were not very good with problems from tee thru the green on most holes.

I'm happy to report that the conditions have improved greatly, and it's clear they are doing s lot to stay on top of things and continue to improve.

We went out a 7:00 on a Saturday. Nobody in front of me and my 2-some played in about 3 hours.

Nice track with some challenges. Friendly staff overall, but the guy at the desk on Saturday clearly needed another cup of coffee..... They meet you in the lot with a cart and are happy to clean your clubs and return the cart for you at the end.

I did not visit the restaurant this time, but previously it was great.

I have golfed here many times and enjoy this course. Great staff, nice layout, normally a good pace of play.

My only negative is the on course restrooms. They need some serious work, cleaning and an exterminator. Really bad!

First...The good: Nice layout, decent price (afternoon rate) and the staff at this course is first rate for friendliness.

The bad: What happened to the fairways and greens??? I should have stopped myself when I parked in the lot and looked out to the 9th fairway. I could tell from across the street and 100 yards away that it was in poor condition.

On the front side, 7 out of 9 fairways are burnt, brown and dustbowls. 6&7 have some green areas. The par 3 third has absolutely no grass between tee and green. My ball came up short and I was hitting out of burnt grass and sand!

The greens are brown.

The back side is a bit better, but not what it should be for the rates they are asking. I had an afternoon rate at $32, but they have been charging around $60 for early times. MANY with much better conditions for a lot less within a few miles.

I will take a very close look at the conditions before I book again.

I've played this course multiple times over the last few months. I've written positive reviews. Not today.

The course conditions on the tee boxes and the greens are deteriorating. Many of the greens are under repair, and many of the tee boxes should be...
I hope they turn this around.

As a side note, someone in management should speak to the person who opened the Pro Shop on 3/21, and discuss the concept of "customer service" with him. I had a 7:00 AM tee time that was booked prior to the DLS time changes. At 7:00 it was so dark that I needed the flash light feature on my phone to drive the cart to the first hole.

In the club house I mentioned we would tee off as quickly as possible, as it was still too dark., only to receive an earful from this guy about his packed schedule and "Why did you book a 7:00 tee time..."
Not sure if he had a long night, but nobody needs to be treated poorly...too many other courses within 10 minutes that appreciate your business. BTW...They were not backed up at any time.

I'm not coming back for a while. I'd like to see the conditions improve.

2nd Side note: The food and service at the Grill is exceptional !

Great conditions and a decent pace of play (for a Saturday). The only thing I could have hoped for a was a little warmth !

5 hour round on a Saturday is not outrageous but still tough to get in a rhythm.

Great course conditions. Very friendly staff, new carts and the grill was even open. On course restrooms are appreciated and placed in good central locations.

This was my first time playing this course. I've been looking at it for a while a found a great Hot Deal on GN.

The course is shorter than I thought at under 6K yards. Staff is very friendly and helpful, tee boxes need a little work. Most greens are in decent shape. The narrow fairways and the water along the course are the challenge.

Leaves completely covered the fairways on multiple holes. I normally use a bright yellow ball and lost 3 in the fairways on the first couple of holes. I had to switch to a while ball to have a fighting chance of finding them.

They do a lot to keep this course in good shape. I do not understand why this condition would not be addressed.
