Cheap for a reason. The front nine had ben aerated, but nobody thought to roll the Greens afterward. It was like putting on bumpy shag carpeting. The ball was tracking like it was drunk! We eventually had to go to a Two-putt rule for the scoring. The round included lunch, cart and range balls, which made it OK for the cheap price. Too bad I purchased 2 foursomes. Oh well we will play it once more just to use those, but never again. On a good note we stayed for dinner, the Cabbage rolls were excellent!

Apache Creek is a fun course to play. This is true desert golf, the rough off-fairway is basically desert scrub, hard as concrete. If you hit into the scrub, expect your ball to roll a long way! The layout is a bit haphazard, you can wander a bit if you don't know where each tee is. There is enough challenge to make it fun, especially the par 3's although most of the fairways are pretty straight. The course is usually in good condition, the greens fast and consistent. Can get dusty if there is a wind, and there is no shade if it is really hot. However, Good value, recommended.

We played Club West last year (2017) and it was terrific. What a difference a year makes! This year March 2018 the course should not be charging a fee to play. The course has not been watered for many months. Apparently there was an unpaid water bill, and the course has been sold but it should not be open in its current condition. The greens have NO GREEN GRASS. It's like putting on concrete, a three foot putt will continue 10 feet past the hole. Pure cr*p! Speaking of which, the in-course washrooms are not working you have to use the club house at 1, 9 and 18. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. This is such a shame that a good course has deteriorated to this poor condition in only a year.
