Got a Golf now rate which was good. After very friendly check in went to range and was very disappointed as the balls dropped from the machine into the basket. Most of the balls were covered in dirt. Apparently they don’t wash them (even during none Covid time you would expect the balls to be clean). Netting was next to non existent. The place is just run down. They did blow the now present leaves off the playing area. Green were in bad repair but I understand it is first week of November but not sure they would be this bad if they weren’t bad during the regular part of the year. Just really disappointed. Needs some money invested to do some basic upkeep.

The course is OK as far as layout. It is flat so I would think they would have more bunkers to add some challenge and add some personality to it.

Course was in great shape especially for late January. Pace of play was perfect and the beer selection in club house is incredible.

Guy in the club House was bad mouthing Golfnow and the gal behind counter took the time to explain how it works for the course (bringing in people who have never played there before like us, only two tee times a day, etc.). When I told her we were Golfnow people apologized for guy (not needed) She was great, explained the course gave course guides and was very welcoming. The pace of play was great even with a tournament. Restaurant after was good too, they handled to tournament groups during the time were there (it was packed). Will play there again even with having to pay bridge toll.

I have played this course several times when visiting the Phoenix area. Every time I have been very happy with the course and the staff. This time I came with someone who had never played here, as we were down for the Barrett Jackson Auto Auction and decided to play a couple rounds while here. I booked a "Hot Deal" 2 weeks out that was only offered at the one time (thus a Hot Deal). We arrrived almost 2 hours early as we were not sure of drive time and I was showing him around the area. The greeting by the staff very friendly, until he realized we had the Golfnow Hot Deal. Instantly he became sour. I did not ask to go out early but he implied I had, and said "you bought the time, that is when you go out." We did not expect to go out early we just arrived early. It was rude and uncalled for. If they don't like the Hot Deals don't offer them. I enjoy the course and will be back, but hope they improve on their treatment of Golfnow customers.
