I would definitely recommend this course. I showed up for an 8:21 Tee time. The weather forecast was saying rain, and the guy in the pro shop told me to go off immediately and beat the rain. As a 3 some we played in just over 3 hours, the way a round of golf should be played, quick and efficient. The course was in incredible shape. The green were not the quickest but true. The fairways were really nice and I enjoyed the layout. I played the blue tees and it was a lot of irons off, which is different from most courses that tend to be so long. I loved the layout, and conditions. I will definitely be back. This may be my new favorite course in the Metro-East area.

Its hard to have a golf course and make the patrons think as though they are the only ones on the course. This course does just that with the way they use the mounds and the tall grass. The greens were perfect, quick but receptive. The fairways were great, but please fix your divots. Some of the landing area had taken a lot of abuse and the staff does all they can but its on the players to help some too. I showed up as a single, and was paired with 2 gentlemen. One was a member that gave me the run down of the course, where to be and where not to be. The other guy was super nice. We had an absolute blast! I will certainly be back.

I went here on whim. They had a good hot now deal, and I had a Friday off and decided to come up and play. They course was not in the best shape as some of the fairways were absolute mud holes from the spring rains. They had some tee box issues as well (the grass was very spotty). The greens were decent and held the ball well. I played with 1 other guy, he was nice and we had a good time but the course overall could use a little TLC. I would come back but only because I got such a cheap rate with a cart. You cant hardly beat it for the price.
Forest Park Golf Course - Red Bud

This was my first time on this track. This is a fun layout and really something that a lot of folks can enjoy. The greens were a little wooly, but its mid-November so its hard to complain about the greens. The layout is nice and friendly. We played the Hawthorn 9 and it was pleasant. The fairways were excellent, and the 9th hole is beautiful. I will be back to play a full 18 next time, and maybe 27 who knows!
