Played On 03/25/2017"Unlevel " fairways
On most of the holes, homes and out-of-bounds were the norms. So, tight squeezes made you focus on the center of the fairways, however, some of them were tilted an d ran off into some tough spots. The par-3s were all exciting with water and elevation being factors and the wind very high and twirling on the 3's.
We enjoyed our outing and will return

Maximum frustration and anger with the regular golfers/hackers who spend their time and money on the golf courses must be the aim of the members the golf course supertindents of are bent me losing my balls, focus and the fun and joy that I seek on the golf course. Other words, the "rough" thi s course has deepened and expanded and is the main source of most frustration among my team. Please pass this on to all of your associated courses.

This is a City-Owned operated course and I have been playing it over 20 years. The grounds staff should be commended for its overall maintenance of te entire course, especially the greens. We had a weather (rain/lightening) delay and were allowed to play and for some resume play within 30 minutes of this downpour. The drainage is outstanding, so much so that you were allowed to drive carts into the fairways and a tournament was played afterward. I have played many courses all over the world both private and public and I must say that Azalea City Golf Course, Mobile, Alabama ranks there with TPC, Pebbles (without the view) and most certainly the RTJ courses that very nice across the state of Alabama.

Night lights for those who want to play late and course is quite challenging. I was pleasantly surprised that it is a Par-e course. There is no mention of this at time of booking since I rarely check on length of oourse.
