Celebration Golf Club
Played On 01/26/2018Never play this course if you want to have a good time golfing!
Yesterday I played the Celebration Golf Course and the experience was horrible. It began when the Starter rushed us out on the course only to run into a huge delay after hole #2. The delayed lengthed after finishing #3 I called the club house to alert them to a groups(s) playing slow ahead on holes 5&6 that is creating delays in the pace of play. Never saw a Ranger until hole #8. The average time to play a hole on the front nine was 19 minutes per hole. That results in a 5 hour 35 minute round of golf. Other issues like we never saw the Cart Girl until hole #8, why bother?! we can grab some food and drinks at the turn.
Icing on the cake of this disaster was at the 19th hole we ordered wings and nachos and the waitress said they were out of both. I'm not kidding!
The experience was horrible from start to finish so I wanted to write this review to keep other golfers from this horrible course.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent visit. I apologize that the experience did not meet your expectations. We understand that a slower than normal pace of play can be very frustrating and never want that to be the case. Unfortunately we did have a large group on this particular day that caused an issue. I apologize that the ranger was not able to speak with you sooner than hole #8 however both him and one of our Operations Supervisors were completely engaged in dealing with the slow groups. I also would like to apologize for our food and beverage team not being able to accommodate you as well both on, and off the course.
