Quick Hot Rate Round
I enjoyed a quick round at Bellair. I finished my round in about two hours. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The course was in fair shape. The ball seemed to roll well on the greens that would challenge a novice or intermediate player. The bunkers on the other hand were either cement like or a mud puddle. This is an issue as numerous bunkers surround the greens. Another positive was the course had water coolers frequently placed at many of the tee boxes. In the summer heat this was a welcome sight. One other issue I noticed was a ton of range balls in the fairway of the first hole. Good luck finding your ball if you hit it short. In summary, Bellair is a decent value course if you want to play a quick round but be wary of those bunkers.
Adobe Dam Family Golf Center
Played On 01/18/2016Well the greens were alright
I like to squeeze in a quick nine from time to time so I thought I would play Adobe Dam. Well what I got was some pretty poor playing conditions. I played Encanto 9 last weekend and the greens and fairways were pretty green. This place however was yellow with green spots. The pace of play was hindered by kids goofing off on the course. The only thing that was a positive was the greens. The ball rolled nicely and they seemed to be the only thing kept. Overall if you want to play a quick nine go to Encanto or somewhere else and don't bother with the kids and poor conditions at Adobe Dam.
