Nice course and in pretty good shape for the winter. Beautiful views from the course. Most of the course is pretty good but some of the greens were obviously designed by the famous architects of Mickey Mouse and Goofy. Other than that we had a good day if you like 3 and 4 putting many of the greens. I don't recommend it because I am a pretty good golfer and most people would have a hard time on greens like this. I sure did.

Conditions are always good and my friends loved the greens. They stick and putt well. They take really good care of these courses.

Nice course and layout. The staff was great and they had a lot of rain storm the night before and shut down the other course because of it. Got off early, never held up. Good pace of play. I liked the design of the course but you end up looking for lost balls much of the day because of the long native grasses. Don't like courses like that really. Takes forever if you aren't a straight shooter. I am, so not such a problem for me. Not sure if it was because of the rains but not much sand in the bunkers. Greens rolled nice and not too humpty dumpty with the mounding. All in all, good experience but I can't see $189 as their seasonal rate. Great if they can get it but right now it is a great rate to play this course. So get out and play it now and you won't be disappointed. I play a lot of the high end places in Phoenix during the summer. The only time I can afford them, so get out early and play and you will enjoy it.

Gopher holes everywhere. Some of the greens are extremely small, well bunkered with little sand in them. Have to be crazy to pay $100 for this place. Much better value at Ft Ord. Nice views and ok layout but many greens way to small. White line demarcating gopher damage throughout. 17th hole very difficult with people eating just behind the green. Could break some windows or hurt someone very easily. Won't go back. Good lunch at the course though.

I got a great rate on Golfnow and my friend and I had a great time. Not the hardest course but really fun. It was fun watching the birds catching fish in the large lakes. Osprey's and cormorants were catching lot's of fish. All in all, fun day on and old standby golf course.

They had a frost delay and the starter didn't really know what he was doing. Got off late but not too bad. Didn't like the course though. They have it set up mostly for their college team and the greens are extremely fast. If you hit high fades into the greens you can probably hold them but for the everyday golfer you would be very frustrated with 5 foot comeback putts all day. Didn't like getting out of the car and their was an armed guard there as well. Oh well, sign of the times. If you like it really challenging, this is a good course for you.

I have played here 10 times and really like the layout, condition, staff, amenities, etc. Got a really good rate on Golfnow for Winter and played with a friend from out of town. Had a great day and will come back when I have the chance. Good value and course condition.
