Haven't played here in a few years and was pleasantly surprised. Played in 4 hours! not the 6 I was expecting. Conditions were terrific, much better than blue, yellow or green. Although they sanded the greens they still played firm and true. Not many ball marks as others have commented.

Nice layout. Great conditions. True greens but played slower than expected. Probably protecting greens from the heat. First class facility. Ample landing areas off tee. Not as challenging with no wind and slow greens. It's pricey but it's Kiawah

Played as a guest. Great Donald Ross layout. Traditional design with a few hazards. Fast and subtle breaking greens make it a challenge. Very good conditions tee to green. Country club amenities are nice.

Typical resort course. Forgiving fairways with lots of bunkers and water which shouldn't come into play unless high handicap. August is off-season (too hot) but they keep it in good condition considering the heat. This also means hairy greens some days. Run by a British company I think. Staff very nice and speak English. Only complaint is beverage cart zooming by without even asking.

Played willow a few times. It's challenging but fair. Course knowledge is a plus. Disappointing conditions. Soft greens lead to lots of ball marks. Fairways also need help. A little pricey without the Golf Now "groupon".

Too many ball marks on greens. Fixing is not part of the culture I guess. Otherwise well kept. Nice course architecture. Good variety of holes design. Very helpful staff.

Good conditions. True greens. Not long but trouble placed strategically. Foursome in front were slow (two holes behind) but still played in 4:15 hrs. Ranger did nothing. It was hot, no cart girl or water on course.
