My wife and I have been coming to Daytona Beach for years. We always play golf when we are here but we have never tried Riviera Country Club. I have been playing golf since I was 15 and these are some of the best greens you'll ever play. Fairways are full without any bare spots. Bunkers fairly placed. The course isn't very difficult as long as you stay out of the tree line. Only 6200 yards from the back tee but it's a lot of fun. We play later in the day and we played in less than 3 hours.

Tee boxes highest need of repair. Some just dirt, some so uneven had to look hard for ball placement. Greens were inconsistent. Bunkers hard as cement. Poor value. Positives include close parking, beverage cart, and super nice pro shop help.

We have played only a couple of courses in this area but thought we try another course based on the recent reviews. This course had good review so we gave it a try. We are very pleased with the conditions and the layout. Greens and fairways are in very good shape and the staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely play here again.

Beautiful landscape. Back 9 a challenge. Rain occurred prior to our play day. Doesn't drain well. Muddy everywhere. Cart path only is never any fun. Tee boxes and greens in great shape. Fairway grass in dormant period. Snack bar beverage only. Not good if hungry.

Beautiful course. Wandering lay out. Elevated greens. Tee time was 0748. Greens rolled and very fast. Staff very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Can't wait to play it again.

Extremely pleasant course to play. Very popular course as pace of play was average, 4 hours. Annoying if you are a fast player. A bit of construction around the course. Very slow greens. Plush fairways. Friendly staff. Looking forward to playing again.

Plush and wide fairways. Sandy bunkers. Average green speed. Excellent condition. 30 minute rain delay which the course handled well. Always our go to course when in the area.

5.5 hours to play. Inadequate ranger services. One of the most well kept courses. Flawless in all areas. Greens fast and true. Unfortunately the pace of play will deter me from coming back.

The hour drive West was well worth it. Tee boxes, fairways and greens in super condition. Older course lay out. If you can't develop a good strategy then your score will show it.

However the course conditions gave hope to such a frigid day. Excellent course drainage from a hard rain the day before. Fairways and greens were flawless. Will book here again soon.

Very poor drainage from rain the day before. Greens weren't mowed, significant grass growth, causing an extra putt at times. Would recommend only playing during dry, sunny weather. Don't let the short yardage fool you. Many holes require strategy and not the usual club sequence.

Wow! I saw a lot of trees! Why? Because I'm an average player. My boyfriend is a scratch player and found a tree or two in play as well. All aspects of the course were in good shape. My biggest complaint was the green speed......SLOW!! Double your efforts to find the cup. I must let you know, though, the grill cooks up the best cheeseburger you'll ever eat!!

Within the year this course is going downhill. Tee boxes in need of repair. Some greens dirt patches, some with grass. Price twice as much as comparable to other local courses. Benefit is fast play and range balls are included. Course to yourself after lunch, 3 hour play.

I've lived here for 3 years and never played this course until today. Always passing the course on I75 but never had an interest until offered on Golfnow at the right time. Fairways good, greens inconsistent speeds but in good shape, some tee boxes rounded and bare. Other golfers kept the pace nicely, felt as though we had the course to ourselves. I guess the 18th hole is the signature hole as it is the longest par 5 I've ever seen! Nice amenities. Look forward to coming back.

Where this course is short in yardage it is made up in strategy. Conditions fair, weeds, bare spots, uneven tee boxes, very small greens to land on. Good time for a twosome.

Beautiful tee boxes, fairways, and greens. Nice shaded areas. Some empty water stations. I have the uncanny ability to be in as many presented bunkers as possible. I also do well in getting out, however, the sand or dirt in these bunkers were like cement. Sand is not a rare commodity, buy some sand and I'll try to stay out of your bunkers!

This isn't a course like the rest. Not long but required challenges due to lay out and hazards including tight fairways. Tee boxes and greens in great shape. Golf cart clean and fast. There were many players noted in passing to be of all ages, more women than men. I love this course.

Played with my boyfriend. He says the course is in excellent condition from tee boxes to the greens. Well maintained fairways, and greens were moderately fast. All I saw was sand, sand and more sand!

Fairways are in good shape, green reads change right before your eyes. Stay with your first instinct when putting or the green will fool you. Cart paths were a stinker. Homes around the course were beautiful to look at.

Nice layout. Extremely large green side and fairway bunkers. Tee boxes fair, fairways in bad shape with more dirt and weeds than grass, greens in great shape, faster than average.
