Bulle Rock is Bulle Rock. One of the premier courses in the area and has held up over the past 20 years. I have never played in which the greens were this slow or untrue. Not sure if due to heavy rains the night before or another reason but not up to the previous high standards. Appeared not to be rolled or cut earlier in the day. With that being said, all other course conditions as what I have come to expect. Carts paths only on a beautiful day. Even with the subpar greens and paths only, still no other private or public course in the area measures up to the Pete Dye gem.

Best conditions of any course in the MD DE PA region... Pace was sluggish but can't take away from shape or layout. Definitely a course to put on your list...
Mohegan Sun Golf Club
Played On 08/31/2020Worth the trip!
Nice 25 minute ride from the Mohegan Sun casino. Tee boxes - good. Fairways some trouble spots due to rough summer. If you roll 'em in the short grass no concerns. Greens - perfect. Rough - thick and lush. Bunkers - consistent. Play it back to use all your sticks. All greens slope back to front. #3 postage stamp size green with tons of undulation. 6 putts in 2 rounds! Super could speed up the greens but average Joe would have a dozen 3 jacks. Overall enjoyable track.
Harbor Pines Golf Club
Played On 07/27/2017Great Atlantic City excursion
I you tired of sitting in the casinos and want to get out. Harbor Pines would be a great 5 hour getaway. 20 Minutes from the gambling houses. Mat practice range, putting green and chipping green. Nice restaurant with a covered outdoor eating area. I recommend the BLT on wheat toast. Course was in excellent shape from tee to green. Greens rolled true and speed was quick but not uncontrollable. A few tee boxes are being redone but does not inhibit play. Fairways were exceptional! One thing I have never seen is the pebbles (loose impediments) in the bunkers.... all of them. I spoke to a couple of the guys I was matched up with and was told that was typical in the region. Local rules typically dictate you can remove the pebbles if they impede with your shot. Will play again.
