I play it a couple times every summer and it's in the best shape it's ever been for me. Greens are pure, slow, but rolling smooth and true. Will be back later this summer for sure.

The front was in the roughest shape I've ever seen it. The greens were punched but they didn't look good. The back 9 was in great shape. Several tee boxes are not flat anywhere. It's a nice course and layout and the staff was great. I'll come back next summer, it's worth a play.

San Carlos was in fantastic condition. I've been playing this course for 20 years and it's never looked like this. Greens were a little slow but pure. Ball sat up nice in the fairway and around the greens. Bunkers have actual sand in them. Coming back very soon.

Played the North and South. Staff was great, they escorted us to the first tee, the North is a little ways away. I'd never played the North before, it's my favorite of the 3 nines. Very nice layout, a good old Florida course. The conditions were good, not spectacular but very good. From the tips it's a challenge, as are most courses from those tees. For the money this is really hard to beat.
The North has the horseshoe hole par 5, it's a little mickey mouse but not ridiculous.
I really enjoyed my round at Spanish Wells.

The course drains really well. It rained all day Saturday and on Sunday when we played the course was astonishingly dry. The greens had been recently punched so they weren't very fast but the ball rolled just fine. It's a really good golf course and I look forward to playing it several times this summer.

First time playing National, it was great. The course was in terrific shape considering the lack of rain, when we played. The greens were like pool tables. They were so fast I was afraid to putt. But they were perfect. The course was pretty open and very fair. The staff was off the charts nice.
The course reminded me a lot of River Hall which is another one of my favorites. I look forward to playing this course again now that I've seen it. I imagine it's in even better shape after all of the rain we've had. I look forward to my next round at National, highly recommend.
