Sad - Golf North has let this gem slide

I've been playing here a few times a year for the last 3-4 yrs. It's a bit out of the way, but worth the drive. Great nine hole track with a few holes right on Lake Scugog.
The issue now is the ownership has stopped putting money into the course and the conditions are terrible. Bunkers overgrown, fairways burnt out and greens are barely grass.
I love this place and really hope the conditions get back to how they were.

Worth the drive

Found this gem a few years ago. Despite the long drive, really great 9 hole track - right on lake Scugog, with a few holes right on the lake.
The conditions were just OK, greens need a few more weeks to get up to standard but this did not detract from the enjoyment of the round.

Great facility

Great Course for the money!! Staff is amazing led my their Director of Golf Jeff Czuba, easy to deal with and really wants your experience to be top notch. Course was in solid shape, and even though it is a slightly shorter track, the greens make up for it - birdies can be tough to come by!!!

Worth the drive!!!

I've been fortunate to play this course a few times, and it never disappoints. Even though I live downtown Toronto, it's well worth the drive. Great course and variety of holes. Having Lake Scugog as a backdrop is pretty nice as well.

Great Track, great value!!

9 hole course I never get tired of. Always in great shape, and with a few holes right on Lake Scugog the views are amazing.

Country course, Great for what it is

If your expecting a well maintained course, this is not for you. Fun course for sure. Greens are very rough, but you get what you pay for.
