IMG Academy is a fun place to play, and they've recently made good improvements to the golf course.
New tee boxes and repaired greens make it much nicer than it had been over the past few years. Great practice area, especially the chipping/short range.
Fast pace of play. Not the toughest golf course, but it's interesting and fun.

I found University Park to be a superb venue all-around. The golf course is really good. 2 of the 3 Nines are excellent, and the 3rd is really good. The tougher sides (holes 1-9 and 10-18) feature more water, a little more penalties for missing greens. Easy to navigate as a newcomer to the club, but also challenging for members or repeat guests. Club amenities and service are excellent.
Conditions were great. It's basically a near-perfect facility - I've played 5 or 6 different places in the Sarasota area, and it's easily my favorite.
