Disney's Palm Golf Course
Played On 01/01/2024Great course
Great course in excellent condition. Pace of play was a little slow at times but overall not bad especially considering it was a holiday. Staff is very friendly and rental clubs were nice.
San Vicente Golf Resort
Played On 10/20/2023Challenging Greens
I really enjoyed my round here this week. Greens are challenging but roll true. Rented clubs and they were great clubs. Pace of play was horrible, we were told they had a tournament and the second group was three holes behind the first group but nothing changed so we had a little over a 5 hour round and we’re stacked up at the tee boxes all day. Will play again if I’m in the area.
Boulder Oaks Golf Club
Played On 07/20/2021Excellent value
Fun and challenging course that could be great if they put some effort into it. The bunkers are full of weeds but greens were in excellent condition considering the drought. Carts are old but work just fine, cart paths are pretty bumpy at times so carts take a beating. Staff is very friendly. I rented clubs which were an old mismatched set but we’re playable and cheap. Would play again if I’m ever in the area again. Nice views from several holes. Played in just under 3 hours.
Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club
Played On 03/19/2021Great course and good value
Great course and good value for twilight golf through GolfNow. Rental clubs were affordable but were dirty, golf bags had trash and warm beer left inside, and cart wasn’t cleaned out well before they put us in it. Other than that we had a great time and staff was very friendly and helpful.
Links at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort
Played On 12/28/2020Great experience!
Had a great experience! This course was challenging but fair. Tight fairways on several holes required accuracy off the tee but was kind of a risk reward course as well. Greens were in great shape considering the rain I heard they’ve had recently. Pace of play was excellent and all staff members incredibly friendly. Beautiful course with several holes playing along side the bay offering very scenic views. Some bunkers and areas around the greens were wet but recent rain and the fact that we’re in a pandemic still have a lot to do with this. A bit pricey for me with rental clubs being as much as the Golf Now round itself ($64) but clubs were Callaway Rogue irons and Epic driver & woods. Will likely play another one of the four Sandestin courses next time here just to experience them all.
Vidanta Golf Los Cabos
Played On 03/18/2020Great value for the area!
Only a nine hole par 35 layout but plays nicely as a quicker 18 when played twice and was a great value for the area. Staff is super friendly and the $20 food/beverage fee includes all you can eat and drink while your golfing. Will be back next time in Cabo. Rental clubs available as well.
Highlands Reserve Golf Club
Played On 01/01/2020Great value and quite scenic
This is a great course in a unique setting as it sits much higher than most of Orlando area. Most of the holes on the front nine are lined with pine trees but still pretty open fairways. The rest is more of a dunes style course with wide fairways that do not greatly punish the occasional stray shots. Conditions are great considering the amount of rain here in Orlando this winter. Staff was friendly and they have TaylorMade M2 rental clubs available. I would highly recommend for the beginner or higher handicap golfers. Great value.
Mystic Dunes Golf Club
Played On 12/30/2019A must play course!
Course conditions have greatly improved over the last couple of years due to new management. Course is in really good condition compared to some other Orlando courses with all of the rain here this winter. Really enjoyed the layout and it’s quite scenic. Played 18 in just over 4 hours as a foursome. Touch course but not unfair.
Terrific! Thank you so much for the great review. We are glad you had an incredible time, and we hope to see you again soon! Thanks for choosing Mystic Dunes Golf Club.
Manatee County Golf Course
Played On 10/15/2019You get what you pay for!
Excellent value. Course was definitely a little weathered but was an excellent value. I was told to start on back nine and it was great( not very scenic due to a water treatment plant that spans half of the back nine. Pace of play was a bit slow once I finished the back nine and started on the front but not bad overall. I rented clubs for $25 and even though they were just Tour Edge clubs they played fairly nicely. Like I said you get what you pay for so don’t pay $25 for a round and expect championship quality golf. Staff was friendly and they’re working on getting the course back in shape. Only complaint was the amount of workers still on course at 11:00. I will probably play again if I’m back in the area. I have seen other courses not to far from here that are in better condition but haven’t played them yet so not able to compare value. This was the closest course to Anna Maria Island.
The Ridge at Castle Pines North
Played On 04/05/2018Great Course
Awesome course but greens and tees are sandy from the recent snows. Wait until later in t and you’ll be glad you played it. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and kind.
Redhawk Golf Club
Played On 06/13/2016Very fun and challenging !
Played on a Monday and had a twosome in front and a foursome behind me that I lost by the second hole. The front nine was amazing. The back has some beautiful holes and a few that look like an average municipal course but they proved to be challenging anyway. The rental clubs were a bit disappointing. They did have a full set but they were outdated. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food was good. I was most amazed by the practice area. Excellent chipping area that is a good representation of what you will find on course. Did notice minor drought conditions on a few of the holes on the back..Well worth the money and truly a unique experience.

Alamo Golf Club
Played On 04/01/2016Not just a par 3
I was visiting from Colorado and most of the reviews I read were from last year and 2014 and they called it a par 3 course. Here we call it an executive 18 hole course which means it is under 70 par(par 67 I believe). The course was in great condition compared to what some of the reviews said. We did find a few bare spots here and there but you can tell that the new management is trying to improve its overall condition. The only disappointing part for us was the condition of many of the greens. I have never played in Texas before so maybe the greens are just not like the greens here. Great value and friendly staff too.
Thank you for the wonderful 5-star review! We appreciate you recommending Highlands Reserve Golf Club to players of all levels. We hope to see you out here more often this year.
