Very pleased with our round. Conditions were excellent, nice staff. We’ll go back

We’ve golfed this course several times and this was our worst experience. Arrived early to have lunch before our round only to find out the restaurant was closed for the day. On Mothers Day. We had a 1:30ish tee time and at hole four the beverage cart person informed us it would be last call, she was going home and the clubhouse bar would be closed. When we asked why she informed us that they had staffing issues. Despite that we made it through the front nine in good time. When we started the back nine, there were four groups stacked up on hole 10. The pace ground to a halt on every hole. After hole fourteen we couldn’t take it any more. It was over 100. As we were driving back to the clubhouse we found the problem. There was a threesome on hole 16 and 17 and 18 were wide open. Never saw a ranger once. What a bummer. This used to be a go to for us. Not anymore.

Course conditions were terrible. Greens were sad. Dead spots everywhere in the fairways. Cart paths will rattle your teeth out. Feel bad for the staff that has to be the face of this. Needs a major facelift.

Really bad conditions. Bare spots all over the course that with the latest rains are mud holes. It’s gone way downhill from a couple of years ago. I won’t be back until it gets a facelift.

Beautiful course. Definitely worth a try. The pace was a little slow but with an afternoon tee time we expected as much.

My wife and I had a great round. Course was in good shape and we got the round in under four hours. We’ll be back.

Course was in super shape. The greens were the best of any course we've been to in the last six weeks. We were out early and made it around in three hours. We'll be back.

The course was in fair shape, especially the fairways. Greens were good. Pace was fine. Just kind of a straightforward course for the area. Spendy for the time of year and conditions. We’d go back but not our first choice.

Course was in great shape. Pace was a little slow but it was a holiday. My shoelace broke right as we were going out and even though they didn’t sell laces, the course manager pulled his out of his shoes for me. We’d recommend to anyone and we’ll be back.

We’ve played Silverado before and really enjoyed it. This time not so much. The Bermuda wasn’t grown in, was cut short and so the fairways were bald. Coupled with an early tee time and we played in mud for most of the round. The rates aren’t too bad but for my money I wouldn’t go back for a few weeks until they get the course in better shape. Played with two other golfers who play Silverado frequently and they commented it was not up to par as well. The staff was great.

First time playing Silverado. We enjoyed our round. Good pace, paired with a great twosome. Course was in very good shape and was fun. Not too long or too difficult but enjoyable. Staff was very friendly. We’ll be back.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable round. Pace was under 4 hrs., set up wasn’t very challenging but we expected that. The course was in good shape even with all the rain the previous day. The views and the homes surrounding are impressive. Finished it off with a great sandwich at the Adobe Grill.

We were on our way to Vegas and decided to make a pit stop and play a round. Glad we did. Great course in great shape and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s challenging but fair with an interesting layout. It was very windy when we played but it didn’t affect our scores as we adjusted our club selection as the starter suggested. We’d stop again.

I normally like this course a lot but today wasn’t the best experience. Pace of play was brutal (5 1/2 hours) with no attempt by the course to move things along. Waiting on nearly every shot. The staff was less than friendly as well. They seemed put out that we didn’t choose the Pine Course and burdened them with accommodating us on the Palm. Beer cart was out of half of what they normally carry and we only saw them once the entire round. Everyone knows that fall over seeding is a little chaotic but the course can do a better job of being prepared.

The course was under preparation for over seeding for the winter so the fairways, etc were cut very short with a lot of mulch and it hadn’t been watered . The greens were fine. It’s a nice course and the green fees matched the condition. I’ll be back when it reopens.

Our playing partner put it best when he said there's nothing memorable about Viewpoint. The course was in fair condition. Staff was indifferent. Pace of play was ok and it was cheap but there are better options in the area.

The course was in excellent shape and the pace of play was very good. I went early so that helped I'm sure. My playing partners were regulars and had a lot of knowledge of the course and were fun guys. The only thing I'd suggest is to provide a course layout in the cart or on the card. If I would've went without someone who knew the course I could have gotten into trouble in a couple of the holes. Great value. I'll be back

I enjoyed my round quite a bit. The fairways and greens were in decent shape and the layout was somewhat challenging. Previous reviews about poor conditions hit the mark in other areas of the course but for the money you can't beat it. Hopefully the course will spend some money to improve these areas. My only caution would be that pace of play may slow down quite a bit later in the day. I was the first person out but experienced several groups (assume local members) just showing up on holes and cutting in front of me. They'd play the hole at a snails pace and then move on to another random hole. I'm sure the course values these folks but a little control by a ranger would be appreciated as I could see this impacting play as the day goes on.

Complete stinker of a round. Checked in to find that a high school tournament was starting less than an hour in front of our tee time and the staff couldn't have cared less that we had no prior warning of this when booking and were facing a 5+ hour round (it would have been 6+ if darkness hadn't mercifully ended our day). Several groups that were supposed to tee off in front of us gave up and left. We expected it to be slow due to cart path only conditions but not that slow. Had the typical drunk in the foursome in front of us that didn't get the cart path only message - where was the ranger? The course was in terrible shape - most greens were unputtable due to overgrowth and damage from geese and lack of attention. The fairway bunkers hadn't seen any maintenance in who knows how long. The only positives were the beverage cart and restaurant staffers. Very friendly and accommodating. The rest of the staff needs to go to charm school. Have played here before and had a better experience but will not be going back any time soon. Much better options around Phoenix.
