On course washroom facilities closed made it a bit uncomfortable however halfway house and clubhouse washrooms available. Although I’ve played here for years absence of fairway yardage markers made it difficult for some first time visitors..
Overall a 5 rating for course condition, layout and pace of play, very picturesque golf course loving playing here.

Last round at Cherokee there was a large number of idiotic golfers. This round was enjoyable a moved quickly. Only experience one foursome this time who were clueless to the rules of golf.
Course in good shape, particularly the greens, some tee pads need work. One suggestion for next season is grading, filling and improving cart paths near and around greens. Deep ruts are hard on the carts and not very pretty.

This golf course has a mature clientele that respects to rules of golf. The end result is a quiet peaceful golf atmosphere, golfers who respect the the course by replacing and fixing divot marks, honour pace do play and act accordingly. I haven’t enjoyed a game golf like this in 5 years.

No course rangers to assist pace of play. Experienced this issue 3 times this year. Today fore some in front of us had no players in front of them, numerous times 3 players exited the green with 1 player still driving about looking for his ball and finishing while rest of his group stood on next tee preparing to tee off.
Golf etiquette these days lacking severely, main reason rangers needed to help educate these golfers. To may times witnessed groups in heated arguments regarding slow play. Also golfers not repairing fairway and green divits. Job of a ranger to control.

Course was in great shape for this time of year, always challenging on the Beddoes. Afternoon game pace is very quick with nice autumn temperatures.
Autumn at Cherokee is one of the most picturesque golf clubs around. Love the hilly terrain and challenging lies, brings out the best in every golfer. Thinking golfers course, plan each shot for best results.

Pace was a bit slow, to family groups of 3 in front of us. We were a twosome. After first nine 1 player from group in front left, remaining golfers play as 5 in a single group. Play slowed down considerably.
If course ranger available would have sense to allow to play through to improve pace of round.

Course provides 3 nine hole options which are challenging and well laid out. Pace of play is excellent. Golfers are respectful to maintaining course conditions fairway divest and ball marks on greens are repaired by golfers.
Many courses and golfers don't respect rules of the game. Management at Chippewa pay attention to details and warn disrespectful golfers. Never disappointed when we play This course.

With the varying distance tee pads you can challenge yourself each round you play here. Par 3 holes in particular can change club selection so drastically you need to know your club strengths and weeknesses. Good luck with your score but irregardless good or bad you won't forget this course and you'll anxious to return. We did and we're from Canada. Were returning in September for a 3 day golf weekend.
