We had great pace of play for the front nine. We caught the back of the train at hole 13 and then waited every hole until we finished. The course was in excellent shape. Greens were in nice condition. Everything was very green and plush. We played the front nine in about an hour and 15 minutes, then it took us 2 hours and 15 minutes to play the back. 3:30 minutes was pretty good but waiting all every hole for the last 6 holes is always annoying for me.

Friends asked me to check in on Golf Now for a Tuesday afternoon tee time. The course was very busy and the play mostly just moved along with an occasional slow down. We were one of the last tee times for the early afternoon so everything went as expected. My game could have been better I was missing putts because I never really got into reading the greens very well. The staff is very friendly and the course was in pretty good shape considering how dry the weather has been.

Course was in decent shape for January. Greens were a bit slow compared to what am use to. Play pace was good. We joined with s single because there was a foursome in front of us and they were not allowing anyone to play through. Still finished in 3-1/2 hours. We played here before and will probably play here again when we are in this area.

I have played this course many times over the past 10 or more years. The course was in good shape. Fairways and greens were good. Pace of play was great. I recommend this course for anyone who is looking to play a fast nine holes or playing with beginners.

I have played here each year for the past 5 or 6 years when we visit Williamsburg. I find the layout challenging and the greens always roll true. Today we started around 1:00 PM and caught up to everyone on the sixth hole. Apparently there was a high school event in front of us and their play was slow. So we took a break after nine, went into the restaurant, had a great lunch and proceeded to play the front nine a second time rather than wait on every hole. We finished the second nine in about 90 minutes, Course was very wet from all of the recent rain so it was cart path only which does slow down play quite a bit. This is a great course with a great staff. I highly recommend Kiskiack.

Course was in great shape with the exception of the greens. Apparently the Myrtle Beach golf courses had a very tough spring and many courses lost greens or portions of them. Pace of play was fantastic if we had not stopped for a drink and a snack at the turn we would have finished under three and a half hours. Staff was very friendly. I look forward to playing this course again when it is healthy. Be sides the temporary greens the regular greens were left pretty long so putting required a stronger stroke that normal and breaks were much less of a issue. I had no three putts but did not have many one putts either. I like the greens to be faster.

The course is in a come back mode. Fairways were hard some places and rewarded the players with extra yards and other time the ball just rolled down a steep hill. Greens were good shape and rolled a little slower than I am use to.
Overall it was an enjoyable day. The starter matched us up with two players who play the course often. They were a great help. Thanks Mel and Tony.

I was told the course is being coming back from not so good years. Well if that is true. The people working on this course are doing a fantastic job. The greens are in great shape and maybe a bit slower that some courses but the rolled true and very putt able. Fairways are nice. Bunkers had powdery sand and lots of it. I think it looks great and plays great. We had a great time here.

I have played Kiskiack Golf Club each year on our annual fall visit to Williamsburg, VA Area for the past five years. I really enjoy playing here. This year the course was in the best shape I have ever seen it. As a reward for keeping the course in such great shape the greens keeper placed the pins in some of the most difficult positions I have ever seen.
Getting to the green was not to tough but getting the ball into the hole was unbelievable on some holes. Enjoyed the challenge, but I felt the putting conditions would have challenge the pros in the US Open. Made it fun and a challenge!

Most holes you can hit you driver unless you are a big hitter. Greens are in great shape. Fairways are firm so you get a little extra run on the ball. Beautiful course.

Played Ocean Pines with two friends. We were playing at a nice pace. We had to wait occasionally but we were moving nicely. Then we could hear thunder in the distance and by number eight the rain was too hard to finish.
I like the layout. I liked the greens which were slower than what I normally play but it was raining and it apparently rained over five inches over the past few days. It was cart path only because it was so wet so that slowed us down. All of this and I look forward to coming back to play this Robert Trent Jones layout again.

I purchased a Hot Deal from Golf Now. Played with my Grandson. We had a great time. The course was in great shape. I have played here since I was a kid. All of the players we met were very cordial. Three groups left us play through and we finished in just over 3 hours.

It is February so the grass is almost non existent and the fairways were wet and even muddy in some places, but it is February. Pace of play was great. The starter sent us to the first tee of the Blackheath course saying that if the twosome that was to join us was not there by our tee time to go without them. We started without them and finished the round in 3-1/2 hours. We occasionally saw the group in front of us finishing a hole when we were approaching the tee. We saw a twosome behind us at one point. They were 2 to 3 holes behind us. It was fantastic. A relaxing round at a comfortable pace. Greens were a little slow and mostly rolled true. Bunkers and fairways were pretty good shape for winter. Great course. I look forward to playing again when I am in Williamsburg area.

Overall the course is somewhat challenging with bunkers and water to avoid. Greens rolled true with some tricky breaks. If you are not familiar with the greens it is difficult to one putt. I guess the rough has it's winter coat. It is not very thick with tufts of grass. The course was pretty busy. The front nine played in a little more than 2-1/2 hours. We stopped for a drink at the turn and when we got back on the course it moved much faster. Played the back in 2 hours. We will paly here again.

Pace of play was great. The course was pretty busy because it was perfect golf weather. Fairways provided very tight lies. No grass between the club and the ball. Many tees were very uneven and chewed up. Greens rolled nicely except every hole had a raised bump around it. Speed putts down hills or across big breaks would veer off in the last 2 to 3 inches. Every hole and the practice green.

Nice course. A few challenging holes. It is fun to play. Condition of greens a bit lacking. 8th Green look like someone took big divots out with a wedge. Other greens had large holes and spots of weeds.

Great course. Enjoyed the layout. It had rained for several days and the course was wet. One fairway was mostly under water.
