Every time I come here it’s something else. As usual, pace of play was horrendous. The group in front of us had THREE holes open in front of them for most of the round. The ranger drove by and they had a great conversation about the weather, literally. It’s just incredible how poorly run this place is.

I booked it on golf now. The course was dry as a bone. Except for the first par five which one portion of it seemed like it was pretty soggy. There was no reason for it to be cartpath only for the entire round. Literally one hole was all that was needed. It’s slowed everything down. 2 1/2 hours for nine holes. Really disappointed.
Seaview - The Bay Course

Have played here several times over the years. Always in impeccable condition with a friendly staff. Things have changed. The greens were far from perfect. The rough is mostly crabgrass. And the cart paths are literally horrendous. A disaster. They are broken and littered with holes and huge breaks that were literally flooded although the starter told us it hadn’t rained there in three days. We were slightly early for our tee time so I decided to hit some balls on the range. I bought a range token and was driven by shuttle to the range. There were a dozen or so leftover balls In one of the stalls so I warmed up with them. The shuttle driver came back and said we could tee off so I never used the token. After the round I went in the pro shop to see if I could get my money back for the token I didn’t use. I explained to Jay in the pro shop that I never got a chance to use it and asked if I could get a refund for the token since I live two hours away.. He made no effort to hide the look of utter disgust on his face when I asked. It was incredible. He literally told me “no” like I asked him for something impossible. I told him to keep the $6. I’ll never go back to this place. This isn’t how you treat customers.

I have played this course many times. It is always a great value. Literally breathtaking views and always in great condition. But today was a different story. The tea boxes were a disaster area. Completely chewed up and uneven lies trying to tee off. The greens were in terrible condition also. Three times I had makeable power pots that were online but the messy greens turned them away. The group in front of us was ridiculously slow and inconsiderate. Instead of causing an issue with them we addressed with a ranger on the course. He listen to us, told us he would address it, and then drove completely in the other direction and never said a word to them. It is unacceptable. They need to tighten up the pace of play.

I have played here many times. I love this golf course. However my last round there, might be my last round there. First of all, 17 out of the AT&T boxes were completely chewed up and almost unusable. There was literally no where to stand that wasn’t gouged with divots or overgrown with weeds and uneven. Also, the group in front of us were extremely and irresponsibly slow.At any given point there was a minimum of two holes open in front of them. After about seven holes of this a ranger drove by and we flagged him down. We explained the issue to him and he said he would address it immediately. And then he drove away in the other direction and never said a word to them. The round took 5 1/2 hours. When I tried to address it in the pro shop, no one seemed to care. It is unfair and wrong. I probably will never go back just because of that.
