Reston National Golf Course
Played On 11/09/2020Awful staff
I cant speak to the quality of the more senior staff BUT the youthful starters were treacherous. (Specifically during high covid times) Both young starters were not wearing masks, one touches his face continously and then handed me the cart key, the other yawned into his hand and gave me my scorecard. Neither told me to have the cart back at a specific time, so when I brought it back just after the sunset I was shocked that one of them had the anger to argue with me and tell me that I did something wrong. The group ahead of me was extremely slow and there was no marshaller to keep the pace.
The greens were rotten in some spots and several of greens had dead patchy grass right next to them.
East Palestine Country Club
Played On 04/26/2016Small and fun
This is a fun little 9 hole course. It is not a hard course but it gives you the chance to play different shots. The greens were nice and the course in general was in good shape. This course hives you the best opportunity to shoot a low score. I recommend that you go to this course if you want to have a little fun on a course that doesn't take it too seriously.
Castle Hills Golf Course
Played On 04/20/2016Every hole is a unique challange
Castle Hills is a nice course. The staff is friendly, even the grounds keeping staff is conscience of the golfers. During my round they would stop their mowers and wait patiently for me, without putting pressure on me to rush my shot. The course is laid out very nicely. Water and woods come into play at times but are generally out of reach from the tee for most amature players. Every hole has a unique challange, no two holes are the same, to me this is the best thing about Castle hills. Right now the grass on the fairways and roughs arent in perfect condition but from what I remember from playing this course last year they will probably have this sorted out by the middle of the season.
