Building site on and off the course

Course in average condition, mole damage litters the course throughout.
Lots of grass bunkers, but after seeing the sand in actual bunkers, the grass ones are a welcome relief. Non raked, compacted sand leaves you with awful shots from these so called sand traps.

Greens in good condition, but holes themselves need work. Lots crowned, cups loose in holes and flags often laid down on green.

Member in front of us playing 3 or 4 balls led to us asking if we (a 2 ball) could play through. He refused as there was a group in front of him (2 holes ahead).

Off course, the place is a building site. Dust and maintenance work all around the clubhouse. No warm welcome at all.
Such a shame

Good little course

Basic but honest. Challenging course that is well kept. Driving range was a bonus as was the little clubhouse after the round.

Fairways in good condition, tees very basic but do the job. Greens in great condition.

Well kept and loved

Good 9 hole course

Tricky course. Great condition for March!
Well done to greenkeepers, I was pleasantly surprised by the layout and the standard of course for the green fee price

Course has lost its soul. Clubhouse is a rip off

Arriving to be told that due to Covid we have to pay £10 on top of our green fee for a ‘players card’ that logs our details is not only using Covid for profit, but illegal!
We would not be allowed on the course without this card that isn’t even an actual card, but a database that holds my details.
The lady selling the card was rude, confrontational and verging on aggressive.

We had met for our first round in a long time so all paid £10 for the card and then paid an excessive amount for 18 holes.

The bunkers are a joke. Compacted sand and weeds and stones throughout…… and tees that are in worse condition than the rough!
Greens were in excellent condition in fairness.

We had Sunday lunch after the round that was brilliant. Seriously good food, but the same aggressive lady serving our drinks was a shame to have to deal with again.

Great little course

Testing tight fairways and greens that run true and fast.
Plenty water hazards and bunkers around to keep you on your toes too!!!
