While in the mountains this is not a mountain style course. It sits in a valley and has some mild elevation change holes but is relatively flat. That said the layout is fantastic and conditions are great. A must play if you are in the area.

Great public course. Fairways and greens are in great shape. Some tee boxes showing wear late in the season but still okay.

I played over the Thanksgiving weekend with some buddies and had a great day on the course. The condition of the course was decent for this time of year with some wet spots that were challenging. The layout of the tee boxes was tight in a few area where noise might be an issue for golfers sensitive to that. I am looking forward to checking out the course again in the spring once things green up a bit.

It is hard to beat this course for the money. Greens were in much better shape since they worked on them early in the summer. I will be back soon.

I have played here several times and look forward to it every time. While it is not the most challenging course for the more advanced golfers, the conditions from the tee box to the greens are fantastic. The greens are a bit challenging as they carry the varying slopes from the mountain terrain so bring your putting game. I have come several times as a single and usually get paired up with a great group.

I only played the front 9 but expect conditions were consistent across the back. The greens were recently repaired so they were a bit rough that day. I expect they will be in better shape in a few weeks once they are grown in. I have played here in the past when they were in reasonable shape. The fairways had decent coverage however off the fairway it was hit or miss. The starter was very friendly which is an improvement from my visit last spring. Some more advanced golfers may not find it very challenging however for the money I will certainly play here again.

We were scheduled to play at another course however changed plans as the fairways were just plugged when we arrived. A quick search on GolfNow landed us at Forest Glen. That ended up to be a blessing in disguise as this course is beautiful. All areas of the course from the tee boxes to the fairways and greens are very well kept. The greens were also quite challenging with their contour and then compounded with some difficult pin placements. The pin placement on 18 the day we played could not have been more difficult. I am looking forward to playing here again when visiting family in the area.

I played this course two times this week when visiting family in the area. For what they charge for non-peak tee times this is a great value for the area where you can easily pay 2-3 times more. The tee boxes were a bit worn but you could always find a decent spot and the fairways were in good condition outside of a few wet areas (you are in SW Florida after all). I did run into challenges with the course maintenance the week I was visiting as the greens were quite sandy from being top dressed and the last day had to change plans after we arrived as the fairways were just aerated. They let us cancel our tee time due to the aeration conditions that particular day. I do plan to play here again as it is a good option for the money.
