Denison Golf Club at Granville

This course has an excellent layout. It is open enough to allow for slight miss-hits, but the mature trees will require some serious scrambling on anything hit off-line. The greens have a good bit of slope to them and they are pretty quick, so keep the ball below the hole - it's actually pretty easy to putt downhillers clear off the green. The course was in very good condition. Not the best price on GolfNow, but a very good deal for a great old course.
Raccoon Valley Golf Course

This is not a plush course, but it was in pretty good condition with the exception of the sand traps and the lakes. It looks like they are just letting the sand traps return to grass bunkers and the lakes are full of algae. However, the golf course has a really interesting mix of tight/wide open, short/long holes and a nice layout. Including a par 5 at over 600 yards - FROM THE WHITES! It really is fun to play - and a GREAT deal at $12 per person for 18 holes including cart from GolfNow.
The Links at Echo Springs

This course has a nice variety of tight and wide open holes, with a few strategically placed sand traps. We played on the day following 19 straight days of rain - it was cart path only, which is not a lot of fun, but understandable. There were some wet spots, but the course was in pretty good shape, considering. This course offers 5 sets of tees, so you can make it as challenging as you want. Lots of really good holes that will reward good shots. 50 miles away, but will definitely play again.

Played On 06/26/2015Very pretty clubhouse and swimming pool - fun course
The newly remodeled clubhouse and swimming pool area are really pretty. The front nine is fairly level with sloping greens (stay below the hole) whereas the back nine is really hilly with less severe greens. The course is not long, but is fun to play because it rewards good shots.
Vista Golf Course

Nice course - not plush, but in very good condition for mid-October. A good test from the white tees. There is not much difference between the white tees and the blues. Seniors and women's tees are considerably forward. A very flat course, so wind can add to the challenge. A really good value for the GolfNow price.
