We made the turn during this 97 degree heat. We went into the snack bar area to get a drink and a quick sandwich. The bar person said that he did not think he could service us because we would lose our spot on the course. He went to check with the pro shop and they insisted that we go to the on course snack bar. We really just wanted to sit in the air conditioning and cool off. I gotta tell you that I have played hundreds of courses but NEVER have been turned away at the snack bar! I am appalled that they would worry more about our golf slot than our health and safety!

I asked the pro shop person about this and he insisted that we could not have got a spot back on the golf course. We had NO ONE behind us all day! And even if we did, there was so few golfers in this heat, that there should not have been a problem continuing our round. I brought 5 other people with me. I am greatly disappointed that they would worry more about the pace of play then our health and safety!
