Enjoyable layout with very nice conditions. Challenging but not overbearing. 18 holes as a foursome played in under 4 hours. Friendly staff.

Course was in good condition, though the bunkers don’t have much sand but didn’t pose a problem for us. Course has elevation changes and blind shots that I wish I knew about, but I will remember for my next round there.

Course is in a subdivision but houses distanced so not much of a factor when playing. Fun course with challenges. Exceptional value for the course. Will definitely play again when in the area.

Course is in great condition except a few bunkers with ground under repair but did not take anything away from play. Manageable layout but as any Pete Dye course can be penalizing but still fun. Cost is a bit on the high side but worth it. The only negative was playing as a twosome 1100 Saturday the round took longer than would have liked. Will not hesitate to play again.

Great course, great conditions. Only complaint is a group of 5 went out ahead of us as first tee time of day. Kept pace on front but then slowed down on back which caused us to wait on many holes as well as the groups behind us.

Played 36 on a Tuesday, only negative was a shotgun start occupied some of the course on our afternoon round, that being said they were very helpful with placing our group to not slow the round down. Great course conditions and layout. Excellent restaurant for lunch between rounds. New Course is closed until fall as greens are being replaced.

Located on a Marriott Resort but doesn’t take away from the pleasure of playing this course. In great shape.

Played 36 on a Sunday and enjoyed all of it. Some of the fringes around the green need a bit of weed control but did not take away from the overall course. Would not hesitate to play again.

One o’clock tee time on Saturday and finished in just over 4 hours on a rather full course. Course conditions in great shape. Greens were very fast but playable. Very friendly staff.

Playing this early in the season the fairways still dormant but otherwise course is in good shape. Grrens play true. Super pace of play. Excellent value.

Nice layout with lots of heather to avoid as is a links course. Course is in good shape with a phenomenal price. Pace of play in a morning was great, may lengthen as day progresses.

Played 36 here and well worth it. Had to play temporary greens on two holes, but they gave us a discount on the price. Overall course is in good shape. Pace of play was excellent, played under 4 hrs with 830 tee time. This is a course to keep on the rotation for future visits to Nashville.

Very picturesque course, winding through the hilly state park. Great pace of play. A challenging but forgiving course as well. Great play for the price.

Played General’s Retreat as the second 18 of the day. Course is in need of some repair due to the weather conditions the area absorbed over the winter but still fantastic to play. As this was a replay we went off at 124 and still completed in less than 4hrs.

Played Presidents Reserve early on Sunday, great pace of play. Sheep were roaming the course after the turn. Course is in very good condition. Definitely a course to play in Nashville.

Played on a Saturday with noon tee time. About 20 min backup on the first tee. Rather slow round but to be expected at that time. Course suffered due to weather conditions this year but still in ok shape. Would definitely play again.

I have played this course previously and once again did not disappoint. Course is exceptionally well maintained. Manageable course but if you spray off the tee bring a few extra balls. Very enthusiastic employees. Do not hesitate to play here.
