A golfer's rendition of the first Thanksgiving

Golf courses around the country whose names were inspired by the landing of the Mayflower.

As we come together with family and friends this holiday season to count our blessings and celebrate Thanksgiving, it's only fitting to take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of this favorite night of feasting. What better way than to look back on the first Thanksgiving?

And so, in the tradition of gathering ‘round the fire to listen to a tale, please enjoy this look at the first Thanksgiving as told with a nod to the golf courses that may have been involved when the first Pilgrims and their Indian neighbors gathered on that glorious Thursday night in late November in 1621.
