October 2020: 'Fall' in love with these photos of the month

The changing of the leaves every autumn turns golf courses into colorful works of art.

Fall was a glorious one in many parts of the United States.

Little rain, coupled with a warmer-than-average month in many markets, kept the golf season going strong until late October when snow blasted parts of the Colorado Rockies and Midwest.

Even amateur photographers with older smart phones captured some great colors at courses around the country. Photos from elevated tees are particularly compelling when you can see the flag on the green and the treetops in the background covered with different shades of reds, oranges and yellows.

Enjoy this kaleidoscope of colors submitted by your fellow golfers. And if Mother Nature allows you to keep playing, keep sharing your reviews and photos. Writing more reviews is essential for our year-end Golfers' Choice lists of the best courses in every state and the entire U.S.
