Golf participation is booming, despite the pandemic.

More than three months into the COVID-19 pandemic, golf is hot.

With youth sports on hold, restaurants closed and many people working from home (or unfortunately furloughed or laid off), golf has become a popular escape for outdoor recreation and exercise. The game has been deemed one of the safer activities at this time.

Golfers seem to have adopted to social distancing measures without too many issues. They're learning that putting with the flagstick in to raised cups or ones with pool noodles in them and rounds without bunker rakes aren't so bad.

The Golf Datatech National Rounds Report indicated that rounds across the country were up 6.2 percent compared to last year. Here at Golf Advisor, we had a record month of traffic and reviews thanks to all this interest in playing the game. With the PGA Tour back on TV and summer officially here, golf should continue to capitalize on its current momentum. We look forward to seeing your future pictures and reviews.

Be sure to submit a picture in your next review to be considered. (Get started right here).
