Golf course conditions
Everything was perfect except sand traps.Great Great greens
Good value
Scored a "hot deal' tee time so the cost was excellent, greens not completely healed from aeration, bunkers marginal.
Overall a good outing
Needs TLC
This track has a great layout! We enjoyed all aspects of it, except for noticeable lack of maintenance in sand traps, and what would normally be playable rough. Could use a cash infusion to bring it up to a great standard.
Fun course to play. Will play again. Sand trap have no sand in them, but other than that it was good 👍
Worst Bunkers I Have Ever Seen
Played 9 holes on greens that I new were just aerated a couple of days prior and I have never seen greens in such poor condition after aerating. There was piles of sand and plugs all over the green. The sand traps are unplayable unless you like to play off of rocks. It is a good lay out with great views of the Santa Rita mountains but there are much better options in the Green Valley area. They should have paid me on this particular day to play. I will not be back anytime soon. by the way, they have a sister curse (Torres Blancas) that is not in any better condition.
Terrible course condition and only 9 holes available
When we booked this round, we were not told that the greens were plugged and poorly sanded. We were told at check in that only the front 9 holes were to be used and we could play them twice. The greens were in terrible shape with sand all over the greens with lots of little pieces of wet sand. This booking was for 18 holes. This is the worst case of deceptive practices I've ever seem.
Get someone else to do your aerating!!!
You are aerating the greens this week. That’s okay, BUT you need to pick up plugs and sweep the sand out evenly on the greens. There was piles of sand, and It was every green on the front nine. Yes we got a discount, but I have played other courses that were aerating and they did not have a bunch of plugs and PILES of sand on the green.Whoever put the sand down did an absolute TERRIBLE job. We paid to play 18 but thought it was not worth to do the same nine over again.
I live in GV and have played the Ranch many times and put up with your so called sand bunkers. But this upset me so much to treat paying costumers this way. Butch explained that you were aerating, but made it sound like it was playable. IT WAS NOT!!!
Last thing, I brought an out of town guests. What an embarrassment. He told me if he came back to play he would not want to play at the Ranch.
I did not play the day of reservation
Front nine was closed, did not want to play back nine twice..
Is there anyway I can get credit for monies spent that was not used .
Thank you.
PS. This is the second attempt at a email asking for credit

Canoa ranch still not up to par
I went to Canoa with a GolfNow booking only to find out the front nine was closed . Working on it I was told. I was told I could play the back nine twice . Canoa has a nice layout and has good potential but the overall condition of the couse is poor. Fairways are spotty and bunkers have no sand in them . Felt like you were hitting off hard pan. The greens were probably the best part of the course . Needless to say I didn’t make the second trip around the back. I played here 3 years ago thinking it may have improved since then. I was wrong.
No bunkers
The course in ok condition. They need to do something about the bunkers or lack of bunkers I should say. Either fix them or declare them ground under repair or get rid of them completely!
Traps
The course didn’t have sand traps they were rial and clay. This course needs lots of work
Unfair fairways
Fairways ultra short; ball rolls forever; ultra tight lies, difficult to hit, Recommend longer fairways with some grass under the ball. The game is difficult enough.
Your bunkers are nothing more than gravel roads; very third rate.
Had a great time
First of all the course teamed me up with a member Art. Art is 88 years old and tried to kick my butt in 9 holes he played. He was very helpful & courteous! I will look him up when I return to Tucson.
The course was great, except for sand traps. No sand & like a rock. It is a shame as the rest of the course is great, Art even made the comment many members play the sand traps as ground under repair & drop outside of them.
The greens were smooth and extremely fast!
Worst condition in years
Tee boxes work out and beat to pieces
Bunker were nothing but gravel pits. Absolutely
LOUSY and un-maintained, no sand but lots of mud & rocks. Yamaha Gas carts were worst vehicle choice
for a comfortable ride on a lousy golf course. This is
a 3 strikes golf course any more. Moving back to SI!
Very nice course to play; however pace of play maddening....at some holes, groups on T, fairway greens..
Need some one to keep pace of play at four hours...We finished in five.
