Morning view down the Par-5 5th fairway. A strong drive, especially to the center-right fairway, sets you up to go for the green in two! Photo submitted by vmustang on 04/25/2021

Long drives and.slow greens….
No cart girl. No snack shack. We were an afternoon group and wanted refreshments.
No cooler chests for carts.
Course layout is very narrow, you almost feeling like you’re playing into your friends on both sides.
very good conditions, great pace of play
Course is in very good condition. some bunkers less sand than others. but very playable. Great pace of play. Very friendly staff
hope you love golf
Because you're gonna be at it for 6 hours if you come anytime after 7am. People here love golf so much that they will hit it into.yoir fairway just so they can pick up your ball. Also cart drink service ends as soon as it gets hot, so you better bring your own.
I have been here for almost six hours and I'm still on hole 16. I hope to one day finish this round of golf where everyone is constantly hitting into my fairway because everything is overly packed in on the back 9.
As I write this review, I can hear the tee shots off 14 whistling past my ears as I wait for the green to clear.
Very backed up & terrible sand
We played on Monday , Tee off at noon. The pace of play was terrible with many holes having four groups on them. Rangers did nothing to speed up play. Overall course conditions were fair to poor. And bunkers were atrocious with rock, hard dirt/ sand.
Only saw a cart girl once, and they actually shut down the burger shack halfway house at 3:00 pm.
They are not interested in maintaining playable pace or course upkeep, and are cost cutting wherever they can to the detriment of the players.
Great Value
Great price given the quality of the course and staff was great.
Horrible Pace of Play
Course is below average for the area with terrible pace of play and poor conditions. There are far better options of courses to play in the area. Avoid unless you prefer 5+ hour rounds on a weekday.
All good except concessions
3:00 people quit working. No beverage cart or concession stand open.
More like this
Super fun course. Reasonable price. Challenging. Nice people. Good beverage cart. If your a golf snob this isn't you place and I wouldn't want to listen to you anyway. Go play Troon North and leave this place to actual golfers that just love playing the game.
Nice course
The course was in good shape and fun to play. It is a links style course so you had carts all over the place with people spraying drives all over the place (myself included). The driving range is tiny so they have you hit these plastic balls to control distance, but you can still get warm. I'd play again.
Tough conditions
This course is a featureless prairie with very little living grass. We were usually hitting from bald spots or dirt. Heavily used public golf course and people do not repair ball marks on the greens. The course was so dry it was a struggle just to get a tee in the ground.
Trees and grass
This course has a great feel due to the greenery. Grass every where and lots of big trees. The canal the runs through it gets many balls from me as it is impossible to roll across it. We liked this course the best of 10 we played in the east Valley.
Traditional Design
Tree lined fairways are a good change from desert golf. Green rough and no waste areas. Firm greens with no surprises.
Great course
Loved the long distance of this course. Course in hreat shape. Will definitely play again.
Nice Golf Course
This is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, course in the Valley of the Sun. For that reason, you should play it. Grab a burger after the ninth at Al Capone's (at the turn). Great service and food.
