Great Layout, Poor Maintenance
I visited in early Sept, on a beautiful 110 degree day. Course was beautiful and we had no issues getting started, however bumpy and slow greens marred the first few holes. When I finally found the bunker, the sand was matted and wet, impossible to hit from. I understand this is part of the times but it seems like NO ONE has raked these bunkers since March. Pace was great and the fairways were in great condition (aside from the lawnmower that wouldnt move for us on 9 and followed us the entire fairway with the engines on.
Six packs for beer, not for groups on a golf course
Course overall in good to very good condition. Greens a little slow but tee boxes and fairways good. Real problem was the group of six allowed to play ahead of us. While they pretty much stayed in touch with the group ahead of them, waiting for 6 people to clear the fairways (looking all over for their mishit tee shots) and also the green. We waited on every hole starting with number 7 after having a two hole cushion to start. Marshall was nice, but clueless.
My only negative is that the greens were bumpy, slow and had aeration lines
I used to like this course, but lately they are always behind on tee times and the pace of play is terrible. We waited on every single hole. The greens looked like they hadn't been mowed in several days. If they had, they sure weren't cut very tight.
It was a good...lil hot but good day. Greens could have used a lil bit of work but nothing to go overboard about. Cant beat it for the price in the middle of the day.
First time at this course!
The layout of the course was nice & it was kept up very well. We did enjoyed driving through the neighborhood to get through different holes to provide an engaging experience with the community. Everyone appeared friendly and the staffs working on shift was very friendly. One of our teammates accidentally left their wedge & the staff attentively held on to it and gave it back to use. They even offered to clean our clubs themselves!
I would definitely come back to the course. Oh yeah, and animals! It was very relaxing seeing all the birds in their environment peacefully and plenty of bunnies running around.
Clubhouse staff always great. Course in good for summer in AZ/ Small greens require accurate approach shots. We'll play again.
Good for the summer
Course in good shape for the summer some dirt patches around green but putts rolled well good for summer golf
We really enjoy playing this course. There some challenges and we like that. Everyone but one individual was friendly and helpful. We encourage golfers to try out this course.
