Morning view down the Par-5 5th fairway. A strong drive, especially to the center-right fairway, sets you up to go for the green in two! Photo submitted by vmustang on 04/25/2021

Nice Golf Course
This is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, course in the Valley of the Sun. For that reason, you should play it. Grab a burger after the ninth at Al Capone's (at the turn). Great service and food.
Fun Track and Good Value
AZ winter rates can be astronomical so to play a fun course at not a completely absurd rate was nice. I will definitely be coming back.
Great course for the money.
Fairways and greens on good condition. Will definitely be returning. Recommended.
OK Course in a great area
$85 is a bit much for this course, but all AZ courses have gone crazy this year.
Flat, straight forward, old school course. Small greens well protected by bunkers, so good wedge practice. Not worth $100 IMO
Excellent course and staff.
Pro shop staff were excellent as were the starters. Course was in excellent shape. Good value and highly recommend.
A challenge.
A well maintained course that has some challenges for every level of player.
The greatest thing about the course is the friendly staff. And who wouldn't love to see the Capone house?
May need some attention to the sand traps but overall a great way to spend 4 and 1/2 hours.
Challenging, but fair.
A well kept course with very pleasant staff. If there is one complaint it would be the sand traps in that the sand is a thin layer atop a hardpan that does not permit a proper explosion. However, once used to that condition, it really isn't all that bad. My golfing buddy and I will return next snowbird season.
Good course
This course was good but the pace of play was horrible. If this is the typical pace, it is not worth the money.
5 hour round, not great bunkers.
Backed up from the start. We didn't tee off until 10 minutes after our tee time. A lot of old timers on the course so we knew it was going to be a long day. Weather was perfect, a lot of bugs on the course until the wind picked up. A couple bunkers were decent, half of them were rock solid, greens didn't have any fringe. On two separate occasions 2 different guys tried to take my buddies golf ball (not a course complaint). An average course for the price but not somewhere we are eager to play at again.
Mature Course
This venue is a fun trek and I would highly recommend it.
Stop and have a Capone burger, and see his former AZ home. Don't believe Al ever played golf.
