Staff Friendliness
Review of Troon North Golf Course:Troon North Golf Course offers a stunningly manicured course and a picturesque backdrop for a day of golfing. However, my recent experiences have been marred by disappointing encounters with the staff. Unfortunately, this issue persisted from my first visit, where I found the staff's lack of friendliness to be off-putting. On both occasions, there was a failure in communication, with no notice given about the closure of the driving range, despite inquiries made to staff members. Moreover, the demeanor of staff members, particularly at the golf cart pick-up location, left much to be desired in terms of customer service. While the course condition remains consistently excellent, the overall experience is diminished by the staff's attitude towards guests. For the premium price charged, one would expect a higher level of professionalism and hospitality. In conclusion, while Troon North Golf Course boasts pristine course conditions, the disappointing interactions with staff members detract from the overall experience. Until there are improvements in staff friendliness and communication, I find it difficult to recommend this establishment to friends seeking a welcoming and enjoyable golfing experience.
Freaking awesome
What an amazing course - make sure you have a tee time with a caddie - Evan was awesome and not only had superior course knowledge but made the round freaking awesome. Thanks
Pace of play
Pace was surprisingly fast less than 4 hrs
Everything was in good shape. Divots and ball marks were repaired.
Good but better for the money
Greens were the slowest I have played here and the driving range was closed despite the bag room giving us directions to the far end of the range
Troon North Pinnacle
Nice course with very heavy usage. All greens were heavily marked by previous ball damage and the tees were also pretty beat up. The layout is difficult, yet fun. The lady who operates the carts and the proshop guys were great.
Incredible course that you must play
Everything about this course is awesome. It is a must play even though it is quite expensive.
If the House of Mouse built a golf course in Frontierland I’m pretty sure it would look just like the Pinnacle Course at Troon North.
Never fails to disappoint
While I get that many feel that TN has priced itself out of the market; this course (especially Pinnacle) remains the penultimate example of desert golf.
All good until….
Welcome, great; staff, great; lay out, great; driving range, mediocre due little turf where it is currently set up. Nonetheless always a good feel… right up until you get to the first green…. And then the 2nd, and then the 3rd… ball marks were shocking for a high end golf course and simply unacceptable at this price point. Allocate some staff to repair them. Shameful that golfers don’t fix them, but my guys we fix 4 -5 per hole, it’s just not enough. #2 looks like a somebody did a helicopter ball drop! Sorry, but I expected better at this price point. probably 8th time I’ve played this course and have never seen it like this.
Definitely recommend
Course was in great condition, amazing landscape all around. A great golfing experience.
