About Talking Stick Resort & Casino
Just east of Phoenix-Scottsdale, Talking Stick Resort is owned and operated by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. It is among Arizona's largest golf and casino resorts with nearly 500 guest rooms in a 15-story hotel tower, six restaurants, entertainment and pools. Located off the Highway 101 loop, it is conveniently located near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and many of the area's best golf courses. In addition to nightlife and live casino action at the resort, a Topgolf was recently added to the property as well. The main outdoor pool is large and has live music and DJs during a summer series and cabanas for rent, while there are two smaller pools. Additional amenities include a spa, fitness center and a complimentary shuttle that can transport guests to area attractions. The golf club is located next door and feature 36 holes designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, the Piipash and O'odham. Both golf courses are void of residential development and feature forgiving fairways and greens on native terrain.Facts

Typical resort course
Not sure we would play again.
The court sent was very flat not very interesting.
The court se was in good shape but we we weren’t overwhelmed with the layout.
Got it on a golf now hot deal. So glad we didn’t pay full price.
Disappointed
We received an internet deal and were able to play the course for a very reasonable price...and maybe that is why the proshop was so flippant and unfreindly, but the boy at check in couldn't be bothered to greet us and came across as so entitled that we nearly bagged it before we started.
The starter was very nice and the course was in good shape but the pace was nearly 6 hours. On every hole except one we waited and on multiple holes there were two groups waiting while a third tee'd off.
For a "resort" the experience was terrible. AND they are completely under construction so you would think they would try to at least act appreciative of the patronage. It was disappointing and we will not be back nor will I recommend it as there are so many good to great courses in Scottsdale that appreciate the golfers.
Over rated
Spend some money on the course, not the club house!
The club house is under reconstruction. There was a college tournament going on the other course so crowded
Great day!
Great layout, excellent driving and assistance from staff.
I would definitely re visit Talking Stick.
Loads of fun!
Loved the course!
Even though they are under construction/renovation, it did not detract from the course itself. Challenging greens! Great pace of play an all around a great day!
Course was well maintained
Overall pleasurable experience with the exception of pace of play. Prohibited me from finishing my round due to darkness!
